Nice walk to the train station

The location to the train station and other transportation was good. It was comfortable enough for one person. The hotel was fine for me for a couple of nights. The gal at the front desk was helpful.

Just the common problem of many hotels with poor layout. A huge sink in the bathroom but no vanity space because of. it, the whole bathroom was small. I thought the price of 7E for a glass of wine down in the lobby was very high and I bought a small bottle of wine at Monoprix to enjoy in my room the 2nd night. Another common problem with hotels these days is now that we have hard sided luggage, it's hard to find space to lay it open. Have to use the desk.

Excellent hotel for catching an early train. A good end to our holiday.

This was booked because it was near the station. It was very close and contained all that was needed for a comfortable stay. we had a balcony looking at the railway. Surprisingly quiet at night. Comfortable beds and pillows. hot water. kettle in room. a good sized room. very pleasant and helpful staff.

The room was lovely Air con was a life saver The shower was amazing!!!

We wanted room service. There was a list of food on the door. I rang to order to be told there were only 3 options available, none of which we would like. It was only around 730 pm. We had to go out for food which, under the circumstances of our evening, was very inconvenient

We found it ideal for an overnight stay, close to the station.

Didn’t have breakfast, left too early. A small, clean room with all necessary amenities, a comfy bed and an excellent shower.

A fine place for a night or two with friendly staff and proximity to mall and train station.

The shower was great; instantly warm with good pressure. Staff professional and friendly. Walking distance to Lyon's main train station and shopping mall. Most of the time it was a quiet and comfortable experience, (I actually enjoyed hearing the trains pass; twas charming). N.B. balconies are shared by two rooms.

Adjoining room walls not very thick but good sound insulation for rooms across or down the hall. Slight unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom but only after a bit of time did it make itself known and was eliminated each time the room was cleaned. (If you plan on spending much time in the main room just close the bathroom door and you won't be bothered.) Honestly, the smell was not horrible, twas simply not appreciated.

Good location with many new facilities

Many facilities are available in the room and they look new to me. The location is good in that I can easily take a tram to go to the old town. And it’s quite near the train station. The wifi is good as well.

Bad drain smell in bathroom. Rooms are tiny. The elevator is tiny - can only just barely fit 1 person and 1 suitcase!!! I have travelled a lot and have never seen an elevator that tiny. Bad housekeeping. When we checked in and got to the bedroom, there was a suitcase in the room! They gave us another room and this time we found a box of leftover food in the safe deposit box which did not work.

Nice decor, comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities and pleasant manager - but drains need fixing

The room smelt of drains, which came from the bathroom, and the sliding door to the bathroom could only be closed by wedging it. We had had a good interaction with the manager when we arrived, but I was disappointed that there was no apology when I reported it the following morning.

Good

I chose the hotel because of its closeness to the TGV station, and was pleased to find the attention given to keeping the rooms clean and servicing them each day. The reception staff were also without fail helpful and friendly. Although the hotel did not have its own restaurant there were several good restaurants within easy walking distance.

This is no fault of the hotel, but its proximity to the station meant that it was a good way from any of the historic sites in the city! Still there are plenty of buses and trams for those who do not like much walking.
