Elisabeth at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. She was the highlight of our stay. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was at times the elevator didn’t work.

Hotel is old style with limited renovated rooms. Rooms are dark with very less day-light. Walls are thin and you hear the neighbors very well. Breakfast ok. No parking at Hotel, need to park in very expensive public parking close to Hotel. Will chose another Hotel next time.

definitely a good place for just storing your stuff and sleeping while you explore the city. my toilet seat was dirty when I checked in. shower could've also been cleaned a bit better. there was no shampoo or conditioner or body lotion. a no frills sort of hotel but close to a lot of restaurants and near shopping areas.

The staff and cleanliness were good. Good local eating. However it was 38 degrees outside and the hotel was so hot. The staff did their best to sort a solution. More water should be provided

This hotel was fine - nothing special, nothing wrong. It was nice that the lobby was manned 24/7. Although it looks like it's right across the street from the train, it's really about a 10 min. walk to the train entrance. The brasserie directly across from the hotel was terrible. Honestly wish we had stayed closer to the older part of town, but due to our schedule, it was nice to be closer to the train station.

the hotel is very well located - 10 mins from the train station and close to the city centre: you can do everything on foot. The service was friendly and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel

Here: very small rooms, cheapest and worn out materials: plastic bathroom appliances, very basic towels and sheeets, wall paper partly come of the wall, inferior design; you have to ask for everything even a vanity set. Complementary coffee with the water boiler? Forget it. Lobby and breakfast room are as depressing as the room itself. Better choose a different hotel. The only treat is a fabulous "art nouveau" café just opposite for a very honest breakfast and an execptional setting for half the price of plastic Mercure. Don't forget to try the Brasserie de l'Est of Paul Bocuse. Here you will find again honest price and fare.

A nice small hotel with a unique winding staircase surrounding the lift. A bit pricey for the standard provided but it’s warm, clean, quiet and comfortable. Receptionists are very friendly and extremely helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
