The reception was good and available at any time, they always smiled, and everything was clean and tidy...

There's one thing I didn't like, and I think they didn't notice it: many Muslim people come, and now it's Ramadan. I can't eat breakfast in the kitchen, and I need the kitchen at night to prepare for fasting... I hope they'll take this into consideration, perhaps by leaving the kitchen open during Ramadan for that purpose... Everything else is fine.

A clean stay near the train station, but will you sleep well?

I only spent a few hours at Yasi so can't really give a thorough review. The room and bathroom was clean, my bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly.

Well, I don't usually stay in backpackers as I find them too noisy to sleep. I was in a 4 bed female dorm, which seemed ok, but unfortunately my very-needed sleep (I had a 6.30am train) was really broken by a room mate spending an hour from 12.30am packing and unpacking her suitcase. I did ask her if she could do it in the morning, and she told me she'd finished, but continued on for another half an hour. I know this isn't the management's fault... but it's why I find backpackers sooooo hard. Also, the curtains on the bed alcoves didn't keep out the room light.

Great hostel, but mostly wonderful people and staff to make your stay even better.

The shared kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need for your meals, and the breakfast was great too! Mainly, the staff made the difference; everyone was so kind! So close to the Part Dieu Station, and if you like walking, Vieux Lyon isn't so far.

Maybe a little bit more storage for the general bathroom to keep your clothes dry while showering.

Great stay with friendly staff and comfy beds

We had a great stay. The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the main station and local connections. The staff were friendly and offered to upgrade us to a private double ensuite room for €10, which we really appreciated. They also let us store our luggage and use the facilities when we arrived early. The beds were comfortable, towels were included, and breakfast was simple but nice. The vibe was relaxed and quiet. Overall, a very nice stay in Lyon.

Nice, comfy and quiet hostel near Lyon Part-Dieu, ideal to an overnight stay between flight and or trains

10 minutes walking distance from Lyon Part-Dieu, in a quiet residential street. The outdoor spaces and bar are colored and pleasant, you can have drinks and a light dinner if you don’t want to go around. 4 bed rooms are not grand but bunks are super comfy and well equipped (nice white sheets, curtain, lights, socks and shelves, underneath lockers). AC if needed. Good breakfast included. Nice staff: they tried and succeeded spontaneously to move me to a lower bunk bed (you con flag preferences while booking in case) - very much appreciated!

Great place to stay, can only recommend.

The hostel is great, spacious, clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. A nice garden with a bar, a coworking and a big clean kitchen with many utilities. AC in the 4-bedroom dorm for women was working well, beds and bed linen were clean and comfortable. No noise at night and smooth check-in. Enjoyed my stay.

Maybe just one thing: it would be better to have more toilets, in the morning before the check-out there can be a queue.

Comfortable stay in Lyon

This is a wonderful hostel with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are very comfortable with nice cotton sheets and a duvet. The setting is nice with a little courtyard and bar to relax in. Thank you and I will gladly stay here again.

Good stay for the price (but I'm too old for this!)

- very friendly Staff - clean sheets and bed. A good, clean matress - batroom cleaned often - complimentary breakfast (baguette, some jam, nutella, apples, oranges, juice, water, tea nad coffee) - very close to train station and rhioneexpess which goes to the airport. I had an early flight and had to get on the airport tram at 4:25am and it was a very quick walk from the hostel. - quite zone after 10pm signs which seem to be respected

- very small and cramped bathroom. There is no place to put down clothes and toiletries. If there are 3 people in the bathroom, it becomes cramped. - cold :(. Weather outside was about 5*c in the evening, and it was cold in the bathroom and unpleasent to take a shower. The common area was also quite cold. In order to get to the reception/bar/kitchen/coworking area, you need to go OUTSIDE. Because it was cold, the air conditioning was always on in the dormroom, and so no one opened the window, which meant it was very stuffy and smelly in the dorm. - very tiny window in the dorm - lokers for both upper and lower bunk are below the lower bunk, so if you want to sleep and someone from the upper bunk wants to get their things, they are rummaging right beneath you. - very creaky door to the dorm room

Spacious common area. Nice concept. Breakfast is simple but nice. Staff very lovely. Overall felt safe, and good vibe with mostly travelers. Close to the train station and a bunch of good supermarkets.

Internet was poor. Locker was broken in my case. Bathrooms are not particularly great.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed.

Less then 10 mins walk from the central railway station. Very friendly hostel owner at the reception. Rooms are very clean, very friendly locker and bedside shelf designs. Quiet environment for a good rest. Very healthy breakfast with apple, baguette, butter, jam, milk and coffee. Gratis hot water and coffee available all day around in the canteen.

Clean, cozy and definitely worth the visit.

The hostel was very cozy with very clean and modern rooms and a really nice common space with lots of fairy lights. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were quiet and clean, and the AC worked great.

As the doors need a keycard, its easy to get locked out if you forgot to bring it every time you leave the room, but thats the case with any hotel or hostel with a system like that of course. Just something to keep in mind.

Stay in town, not here.

Rooms quite modern. Clean. Bar was nice though over run with locals. Really small rooms and shower/toilet area.

Lockers won't fit a decent sized suitcase. Location is really bad. Miles and Miles from anywhere. We walked to find a restaurant and the waiter warned the area was not safe for tourists. There's a bar at the hostel but you get the feeling it's just used by locals and not travellers. We also had an old French guy in our room who was strange and screamed at night.

Outdoor seating is vibrant. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Kitchen was spacious so we can cook our own food comfortably. They allowed me to check in early since I was not feeling well. A home away from home.
