Actually nothing it was utter disappointment and disaster!

it was really dirty carpet , furniture and the bathtub was broken and no hot water - no water pressure whatsoever, was like taking a shower in a sink - no coffee, tea or any glass in the room - no heating in the room it was cold but they give you a itchy orange plaid ( disgusting)all furniture are broken but the worst was no wifi at all!! I am unsure as bedbug as it’s old smelly and run down and no Maintenance at all, the lift was not working on Saturday afternoon a technician was there but going up and down to communicate from the 4 floor wasn’t in my weekend plans so as it wasn’t my plan to spend from 5 pm Til 8.38 pm trying rooms to check connexion wifi as I had a report to send from my laptop which was very urgent ! - no turn down service - so no change of towels or sheets and the phone fro contact the reception is not working and disconnected so you have to call them from your iPhone . The personals seem to be well aware of the state of the hotel but they don’t really care about it- they just say they know but can’t do anything…had to change room 6 times and yet no wifi for me to work , all the rooms seem empty and dirty , severals guests had the same issues and I saw on trip advisor a review that 3 weeks ago they didn’t had wifi neither. It’s very noisy all Burger King costumer’s chatting and vomiting just in front of the hotel . This is definitely not a 3 star hotel more like 1 star hotel with weird people and very bad smell and all furniture are pitiful I would even give them to a charity shop , the walls are dirty

location next to the metro station, easy to check in, next to the pedestrian street, great location for Lyon. Not in the centre, but only 4 metro stations to the centre, and you can easily walk to the centre when teh metro is closed

AC could not be regulated and i would have liked it stronger, but still good, I was able to sleep well during the heatwave.

A hotel in a good location outside the central part of Lyon with easy access to the Metro and friendly staff

Overall the hotel is in rather poor repair. No hot water and broken shower facilities in both the rooms we used - very disappointing. Desk in one room falling apart and coming away from the wall. 'Free wifi' but only in reception area - not really up to standard expected these days

ON THE VERY FIRST DAY WHEN I WANTED TO CHECK IN, I WAS TOLD I NEED TO PAY NOW AND WAS FORCED TO PAY UP FRONT FOR MY ENTIRE STAY. SUPPOSEDLY THIS HOTEL ARIANA SHOULD BE NON SMOKING HOTEL BUT MY ROOM WAS ON THIRD FLOOR AND ALL THE SMOKERS STARTING 4 th FLOOR WERE POLLUTING AIR TO LOWER LEVELS. IT SMELLED SO BAD THAT I NEEDED TO KEEP WINDOWS OPENED, LET FRESH AIR, AT SAME TIME COULD HEAR LOUD NOISES ON THE STREET. MARCH 1/23 WAS THE DAY WHEN ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED AT ALL BASKETS NOT EMPTIED, NO CLEAN TOWELS, NO SOAP, NO TOILET PAPER. WHEN I WENT TO THE RECEPTION I WAS OFFERED TO MOVE TO DIFFERENT ROOM- WHAT A JOKE. IF I COULD TRANSFER TO DIFFERENT HOTEL I WOULD BUT SINCE IT WAS PAID, THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION. ALSO NOT KNOWING FRENCH LANGUAGE ENOUGH THERE WAS NO CHANCE TO EVEN HAVE REASONABLE CONVERSATION. THAT BEING SAID I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO OTHERS. I TRAVEL A LOT AND THIS IS SECOND TIME TO WRITE SUCH UNCOMFORTABLE REVIEW.

I did 7 nights without Internet in my room, I reported severally and nothing was done after the third day I realised there was a free WiFi from burger King which I resorted to, there was an elderly black male at the reception who was not customer friendly elite.
