Great for solo stay.

The room was very clean and suitable for a single person. The facilities were complete and the room was well decorated. The owner is really frendly.

It was a bit troublesome for me to pay in cash. I had to withdraw money and then exchange to Euros, while the service fee is pretty high.

Great place for exploring Lyon

The host met us on the way to the apartment, which made it easy to find the place and collect the keys. The neighborhood felt safe, and the underground station was just a few blocks away. Additionally, there was a public bike stand right outside for cycling enthusiasts. The apartment was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with essential staples, utensils, and fresh local bread. The host was incredibly friendly, sharing his local knowledge and even booking a restaurant for us.

Living in a shared space has its unique charm. If you require a private bathroom, consider other options.

It was alright for single people on short stay.

The room and bed were good and comfy .

The entrance was difficult to locate from outside the building. The toilet was not attached . The breakfast was not up to expectations as on the second day there was no bread in the bread box. The room door locks didn’t work well and it was fixed on last evening and a bottle of champagne was given as a gift for this problem. Much appreciated.

We had a very pleasant stay at Pascal‘s B&B!

We were warmly welcomed by Pascal who also had the best tips for (non touristic) dining in Lyon. He was also so kind to delay our checkout for an hour which helped us a lot! Thanks so much! Can totally recommend!

Enjoyable stay in Lyon near the main train station

I had a very nice overnight stay in Lyon. Pascal was very accommodating and provided a plentiful and healthy dinner as well as a delicious breakfast. I especially appreciated that he and his friend took time to chat with me during the meals. Also, the location within walking distance of the Lyon Part Dieu station was ideal for me.

Unfortunately it was not possible for me to stay in the usual BnB location due to a problem with the heating. Therefore Pascal put me up in a different apartment, so I was not able to enjoy the attractive decorations presented in the photos. However, the main thing was that I slept and ate well!

The host was fantastic in accepting my mate book-in, and really went out of his way to accommodate me and provide me a space, as well as providing me with good recommendations for restaurants etc.

Personally I think the price is quite high considering you do not have an en-suite, but instead shared bathroom between 3, and it’s not in the most central location so you still need to have 20 minute travel to reach most of Lyon’s touristic sites.

Bread, butter & rhubarb marmalade

Very clean rooms, with nice furniture and decorations. Despite the shared bathroom, every room has a small sink. The location is not in the very city center, but close to a metro station - 3 stops from hotel de ville. Host very punctual to come for the check in, and gives useful raccomendations.

The room was a bit small, without wardrobe to put clothes in, and with poor acoustic insulation. The shared bathroom is not so comfortable, but you know that when you book the room.

C'était trés bien

L'appartement est situé dans le quartier gratte ciel à Villeurbanne. J'ai très vite sympathisé avec l'hôte avec qui j'ai dîné le soir et petit déjeuner le matin. Le repas était d'ailleurs simple mais de haute volée, mon hôte ayant fait l'école hoteliére. Les équipements sont de bonne qualité, les matelas et les oreillers sont neufs. L'appartement est bien isolé phoniquement, on n'entend aucun bruit. Bref une trés bonne surprise

Je n'ai pas pu loger dans le logement réservé à cause d'un problème électrique. A la place, j'ai occupé une chambre dans le logement du propriétaire pour le même prix. L'odeur du tabac froid m'a plutôt déplu.

Logement sale (poussière et saletés au sol et dans les multiprises, WC avec de l'urine cristallisée au niveau de la lunette) et en mauvais état (trou dans le mûr, drap avec des tâches d'encre, volet cassé et bloqué fermé, bouton de la chasse d'eau casé et remplacé par un bouchon de Porto, colonne de douche mal fixée, etc.....), ce qui ne rend pas aisé le partage du WC et de la douche avec les locataires des deux autres chambres. Maniaques de la propreté, s'abstenir absolument

Un hôte très agréable pour une nuit à proximité de mes lieux d'intérêts.

Pascal est un hôte très agréable, prévenant et sympathique. Le lieu se situe idéalement à Villeurbanne non loin de mon lieu de travail et des axes de circulation en tram. J'aimé les conseils et les conversations avec Pascal, l'accès tram aux quartiers intéressants (Charpenne pour les bars et restaurants). La literie était correcte.

Les équipements vétustes du lieux : sèche cheveux HS (ou les prises électriques, je ne sais pas), les volets bloqués cassés, la chasse d'eau cassée non remplacée (un bouchon en liège en guise de bricolage de fortune), des conseils écrits ici et là sur un bout de papier scotché (mot sur une enveloppe à chèque dans les toilettes), des consommables "premiers prix" comme les papier toilette, les éponges, l'isolation sonore (bruits extérieurs, isolation portes intérieures) et l'odeur de tabac froid à mon arrivée dans la chambre.

Une halte très appréciée

Accueil très chaleureux. L'appartement est très joliment décoré et fonctionnel. Bien que situé en ville l'isolation du bruit est parfaite. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir car rien ne manque pour passer une agréablement halte au plus près de la capitale des Gaulles.

Aangenaam en voor een bezoek aan Lyon zeker in orde. Voor deze prijs was het super in orde.

Zeer behulpzame gastheer. Het was leuk de metro in de buurt te hebben.

Het was tip top, maar als minpuntje was het ontbijt is te pover. Er mocht iets meer beleg voorzien worden.

Une soirée très agréable qui m'a permis de me ressourcer et de recharger les batteries.

Pascal, l'hôte, m'a préparé un délicieux repas le soir de mon arrivée. Je me suis régalée..il était charmant et très accueillant. Je garde de cette rencontre un très bon souvenir. Le repas était parfait, de la grande cuisine vraiment ! La salle de bain et les toilettes étaient propres, la chambre accueillante et bien isolée. La cuisine est un bar américain stylé. L'appartement est joliment décoré. Parfait pour passer une soirée régénératrice avant le travail du lendemain.

Il n'y avait pas de drap dans le lit, cela pourrait être une petite amélioration pas très compliquée à mettre en place.

La gentillesse de l’hôte. Le logement était propre et bien entretenu. La cuisine pratique. Le lit confortable. Décoration atypique !

Attention les 3 chambres donnent sur la cuisine commune. Et la salle de bain est commune. Nous n’avions pas fait attention et nous avons été surpris de partager ces espaces avec d’autres personnes.

Lieu qui manque de sécurité

Nous étions deux chambres avec salle de bain partagée dans un immeuble sans agent de sécurité ou réception. L’homme dans l’autre chambre a fait tout un vacarme vers 1h du matin et a défoncé sa porte de chambre. Étant deux femmes, nous étions très stressées et n’osions pas sortir pour vérifier ce qui se passait. Nous avons appris le lendemain que l’homme avait brisé sa clé, d’où la raison pour laquelle il avait défoncé sa porte de chambre. L’hôte ne réside pas ici et ferme ses notifications le soir donc aucune possibilité d’aide si nous avons un problème durant la nuit. Je ne conseille pas du tout cet endroit à une femme seule ou deux femmes. De plus, l’insonorisation entre les chambres et avec la cuisine est terrible, et nos volets étaient brisés, donnant une atmosphère peu envieuse le lendemain matin.

Bon à soivoir c est un Logement à partager

Cet établissement est proposé comme un hôtel sur booking alors qu il s’agit d un appartement avec 3 chambres qui sont à partager avec d autres personnes que l on peut à peine fermer et un mini lieu de vie qui est une cuisine . Heureusement que ce jour là nous avons pas eu besoin de partager les lieux avec des autres personnes car nous étions pas préparé à cela . En plus un toilette pour un appartement qui peut contenir 6 personnes dont 3 couples qui ne se connaissent pas c est vraiment limite. Autrement le lieux fait l affaire pour une nuit .
