We loved the location, the cozy feel, the elderly residents we shared the breakfast room with.

We loved the experience. We had a simple, lovely breakfast in the restaurant (included-unless you order something) with the elderly residents. The facility was very clean. Cozy. Staff was helpful! It was really clean. There's no iron in the room, but they steamed some items for us-for a fee. Floors seemed heated. Tight quarters, but efficient use of space.

The pillows were large and hard to sleep on. The beds are simple twins, kind of comfortable, but I woke with back pain each morning. Arrived late in the evening and had a little trouble getting into the side entrance-but housekeeping finally let me in-and got me our key.

Comfortable stay

Location was adjacent to an old persons home. This was not clear to us when we booked however it’s not an issue. The rooms were comfortable, clean and very quiet. Close to the town and has underground parking. Good selection for breakfast.

Room didn’t have aircon so it was quite warm and there was no mini fridge.

Arrive late at your own peril.

Location

Arriving late in the evening, we looked for the 30 minutes for the automated check-in kiosk without success. We stumbled around a darkened foyer area with an elevator and stairs but no check in kiosk/screen visible. A telephone call went to voice mail with and informed us that they would open the next morning. Ultimately, we had to forfeit our pre-paid room and find another hotel late at night in a strange city. Soooo....we can't really say how the rooms were. The lesson is to arrive before 5pm when the office stops answering the phone.

Did not know it was associated with some form of nursing home. I am old enough to possibly be in a nursing home so I’m not being critical except to say it would’ve been nice to know beforehand.

We didn’t realise the hotel was part of a nursing home and that we were expected to have breakfast with our daughters in the same area as the residents. We just did not feel comfortable with that. The rooms were very small and the beds and pillows not very comfortable. the rooms were also only prepared for one person not two.

- Great location - Room service cleans every day - The hotel is linked with a house for seniors/medical facility, I find it as a nice example of corporate social responsibility.

- Reception service is opened only between 7:00-12:00 and 13:30-17:00. This would not be a problem until you have things you need to solve.... My experience started upon arrival, when my key was supposed to be jn outside locker. Everything was clear, got instruction how to collect key, but then I openned a locker and the key was not there, so I had to wait for reception to open. - Internet is a big mystery to me in this hotel. My stay was for three nights, but I got only internet for one day (paper with code). The next day when I came from business meeting, the reception was closed, waitress in restaurant busy, so I could not work which was a problem for me. Why cannot they give you connection for whole stay? - Breakfast is very limited, almost nothing to choose from. If you come a but later, there is no ham or salami and the portions of eggs you can order are very small. - My bed was also not very comfortable, especially the pillow.

Neat quiet place in central St.Gallen

-The hotel is very well located, just by the old town of St. Gallen. Very convenient. -The place is quiet. -There is a free parking in an underground garage onsite. -The hotel serves a good social purpose, as right next to it is a senior person housing, and the two share a dining facility. -Clean and neat.

-There is not much not to like. The hotel was in line with our expectations and the online description.

The location is super, in the centre of town and the bonus point of free parking.

Due to the dark furniture plus dark curtain, it makes the room very depressive. The dining area too needs a fresh redone.

The booking is for a bed and not the room as you can't use certain things if traveling alone. There was no wifi in the room and the claim to have it

Good location and clean

WiFi situation was bad, had to have a voucher only one per device and not enough for all of our devices. We got kicked off internet one night and couldn’t re log on bc the voucher had been “used”.
