Great location close to the highway

Excellent location, comfortable rooms and we really appreciated access to a water cooler near reception. There’s a great woodland walk nearby where we took the dogs for a walk. We took the opportunity of using the discount vouchers for the restaurant nearby, Courtepaille which allows dogs inside the restaurant.
Minor problem in the bathroom for the disabled - the water during a shower drains towards the toilet. Perhaps a shower curtain is required?

Very clean, very comfortable.
Not many places to dine, nearby.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Caen, which is convenient for a stopover on the road. The city can be reached by bus or by car (about 10 minutes). The rooms are small, but clean. Free parking is available on site.
The rooms are small, there is little space. Convenient for an overnight stay.

Secure parking. Bright and colourful. Keep fit machines. Reasonably priced breakfast, with two different price options. Everything worked well. Beds were comfortable.
It would have been nice to have had two pillows per person. Perhaps signs in the corridors to ask early risers to keep their voices down when they exit their rooms.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
It was not too far from the ferry port, although a little hard to find in the dark.
Breakfast was also available at a reasonable cost, if you required it.
The parking was difficult, as we had a small size motor home, and the car park was quite full.

Secure parking, breakfast was ok.
Arrived at 10.30pm and one room was not ready, had to wait 15 minutes. When we entered room it was full of cigarette smoke.
Floors where dirty in both rooms. Duvet in one room smelt of smoke and looked like the bed linen had not been cleaned. Bits all over the cover of mattress and another Duvet was not clean, smelt very bad.
This is the worst hotel we have stayed in so far, from the many trips that we have had to France. Would not book again

This is a no frills hotel that we have now stayed in 3 times before driving to the Dordogne. It’s basic, very clean, quiet and with a very comfortable big bed. Breakfast was lovely, croissants, pain au chocolate, bread, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham, egg etc. lovely juices and teas and coffees. It’s a bargain. Man on reception was very pleasant.

Parking available on site. The location is quite some distance from the town centre but Uber taxis are available. Not much around the hotel, MacDonalds, petrol station and a supermarket. You'll need to travel to the town centre to get something decent to eat. You must visit "Moon and Sons" if going into the town centre.
Rooms a little on the small side and no kettle.

We quickly needed a room late in the evening, and Ibis was great for just one nights sleep.
It was a big room, clean, fresh.
Quiet hotel.
Far away from city centre.
A noise in the bathroom all night. We had to shut the door, but then our towels and clothes didn't dry during the night.
The staff didn't say anything (about brekfast, check out time, gym etc...), just gave the key.
The light/ lamps weren't working and one at the bed worked half.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Basic facilities, but very clean and fully functional.
Could do with upgrading the towels; pillows are terrible.

Room was excellent value for money great night sleep, easy access for all routes to ferry, city, etc The sister Hotel amenities were used at nigh time for Alcoholic drinks in the reception area and staff were also great in that Hotel. It was also good for McDonalds which is right next door if you want a simple meal. We walked into the City Center which wasn't as far as some of the locals had made out. We loved our stay and the City is a very Beautiful place to stay and enjoy. Car Parking was also first class
possibly a license to sell Alcohol as there is very little around in the way of options to have a drink.

Very budget, good for cheap trips, minimal facilities in rooms, minimal breakfast

The room was sufficient for what we needed. We we were there 2 days and it was what we paid for. Room was clean and the heater worked very well. Parking was great too. Most of the staff was great. Near a wonderful market.
Staff was very hit or miss. Most of them were great and helpful but one gentleman almost seemed to mock me. I am very understanding of the fact that I am in a country where I speak at best an intermediate level of French and the conversation I was trying to have exceeded my levels and he continued to laugh at my concerns.
We had a non smoking room, but the smell of the smoke from others was extremely disrupting to us.
Beds were fine for 2 nights. I would stay again if it was a 1 night stay.

The hotel has its own fenced yard with a parking lot in it. The rooms was tiny but cozy with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious. 👍
