Short and acceptable

Location

The wc had a very bad smell to it. The bathroom had a shower in the middle of the room, no curtain. Strange configuration.

Quiet, Comfortable, and a Culinary Highlight

Fresh, comfortable room and very quiet with a spotless bathroom. Excellent breakfast served in a calm setting with plenty of space between tables. The hotel has great charm, and the on-site Michelin-starred restaurant was a real highlight — we tried the secret menu and loved it. Highly recommended!

The only downside is the rather dull surroundings, about a 20-minute walk from the city center.

A wonderful treat for our friend to visit the restaurant… we had been before.. it’s fabulous food!

We love the individual rooms but found our sloping ceiling a little challenging! Great that you can park there easily too. Staff are all delightful too.

other than the breakfast and basin was a lovely stay, staff very welcoming and helpful.

location was good for our daily trips out the room had everything we needed found very strange the separate toilet had no wash basin for washing hands.

the above was our main negative breakfast not included in the price of the room booking and €18 was expensive for myself only having a little muesli and coffee not worth the €18.

Comfortable luxury oasis, maybe not quite 5 star standards for some but really clean and comfortable

Loved the bathroom, and spacious room with a lovely welcome. I wish I had the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, but perhaps in the future, they'll have a vegan menu, but this is a fantastic stay in the surprisingly vibrant city of Caen. The room interior design seemed a little under 5-star standards but everything was clean and neat.

free on-site parking was a bonus. I enjoyed a lovely massage during my stay at this hotel which was fantastic and a wonderful end to my 2 week touring holiday. a little out of town, but a nice walk in the sunshine got us there pretty quickly, but we took advantage of the excellent bus service to take us back with the bus stop right outside the hotel.

Good sized, comfortable, clean room with air conditioning. Nice internal patios to sit out and good food selection at breakfast. Young woman at reception couldn’t have been more helpful. Free onsite parking too.

Decent higher end hotel

Breakfast was good with fairly good options.

Room was in slight disrepair with the tv not working for the first two nights and some plumbing fixtures were loose. Quite significant paint smell in the hallways at the time of our visit.

Nice Boutique hotel but needs some minor improvements to make it truly 5 star

Staff were very helpful, my mum hurt her hand and needed ice, lady at front desk was very nice & efficient with helping. Staff are very courteous, I think they make the place.

We were put on different floors, at check in. I was in a room directly above my parents and could actually hear them through the ventilation. Had odd things like I had bath but no door to bathroom. My parents and brother had only showers. My bath had screen on wrong end, should be where most likely to splash ie near taps but was on other end. No shelf to put toiletries in the showers, have to bend to floor. Toilet in a separate room to shower/bath even though lots of room in the bathroom. So have to walk across room to wash your hands. Second floor has sloping roof, fine for me I’m short, not favourable to my taller brother. Michelin Star restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday night, so we didn’t get to try it as our ferry was on Tues morning

Perfect for rest and relaxation and close to the ferry port.

Stayed for 1 night on the way back to the ferry. It was the perfect end to our holidays, relaxing in the spa and eating the delicious meal. Would of liked to sat another night.
