Near the airport and clean . Also couldn’t hear the planes

Bed way too soft, food pretty average. Bed too uncomfortable, hardly got any sleep.

The location was great and it was good for an early morning flight.

The rooms were a bit dated but okay . I booked this hotel because of it's location but I planned to use the gym. When I booked it had no information on the opening hours on the weekend which meant I never got to use it like I planned to. On the weekends they shut at 7 pm and only open at 8 am. It might not be a huge problem for others but for me it was quite important and it was disappointing.

Unfortunately I didn’t like my stay in this hotel at all, I always choose Hilton, this time I wanted to try yours as looks very nice on the photo's and cost a bit more! All ready at the beginning I have been upsed with my decision, the guy give me water of bottle didn’t say anything, didn’t as maybe still of sparkling - I mostly having sparkling, he handle me still! …. When I went to my room that was when I felt uncomfortable, and I was looking forward to relax, especially to take nice bath, the toilet was very poorly working, the handles in the bath - they have not nice colour already as they are very old, the furniture in the room partly scratched, the spoon dirty, the kattle very loud, no sparkling water, but I did buy it in downstairs area after and a food which I took to the room, I tough at list the food will be good as I was hungry, I didn’t enjoyed as I sow hairs on tray, I didn’t want to complain, people should know, should check 100% if the room is sparkling clean!

The staff tried hard to rectify issues we faced

On arrival check in was smooth but when we got to our room it was a used room and had not been cleaned, so I had to go back to reception and try and get a new room. When we finally got a room it was very tired looking and there was no water which is pretty standard with most hotels these days and for the price I would expect that as standard.

Food was pretty awful, 2 burgers cold chips, one set of cutlery between the 2 of us. No TV remote control and the plug for kettle was broken and dangerous

Perfect location for the airport terminal. Spacious reception and bar area with welcoming and efficient staff. Spacious, quiet and clean room.

Restaurant closed I believe for restructuring so necessary to eat at the bar

The location

Property is a kind a metal warehouse type building. Room's decor was dated, carpet was stained. In the bathroom the light would flicker and the toilet flush was dripping constantly. Fridge wasn't working.

Location is perfect for traveleres from Stansted. when you miss your flight this will cheer you up.

I missed my flight. But that was the reason I ended up in hotel. It was great

Conveniently located at the terminal for a very short stay to get refreshed and rest for a few hours between flights. Managed to get a decent rate as well, so it was worth it.

Staff were nice and friendly

Someone interrupted us at checkin and staff member stopped and turned attention to them which I thought was a bit rude as we were mid conversation. I am gluten free and there was very little choice for me compared to other places - I ended up with what tasted like a microwave curry and icecream in a carton with a wooden spoon but at big hotel prices. Room was clean and nice but not expensively dressed - it felt like a slightly more upmarket travel lodge. Also it was 'on the make' - want to check in early - extra. Want to park - extra but cannot book. And the list went on. If I'm paying £180 for a room on my honeymoon I just expect to be treated like a guest and not a cash cow. Felt very Ryan Air.

The Xmas lights in reception weee nice . Staff were nice check inn.

The room was freezing cold . The heating kept going off and turning temp back down iso I had to get up Al through night to put back . I also slept in all my clothes . Wanted breakfast but room was so far away from lifts and with barely sleeping i as too tired to even go for it .

It's ok.

Expected more as I had previously stayed at a 3 star hotel at Stansted and this is 4 stars and was the same price. The 3 star hotel was much better.

Shocking room service costs… £25 for a thimble of thick gloopy soup and a small red wine. Avoid room service

Prices for food and especially drinks at the bar meant that we felt ripped off despite the quite nice surroundings. Also didn’t like having an ‘accessible’ bathroom in our room.

Bathroom had been cleaned except the toilet. Did mention to reception, offered to move us room, money off food or 2 drink vouchers but as we had a very early start and had unpacked, were not eating. We had the drinks. Didn't eat as stayed before and it was not good then. TV controller was broken. Carpet had holes in and was stained and worn. Bathroom fittings dated and limescale marked. Only stayed here again due to close proximity to airport.

Restaurant. The place was chaotic, poorly managed and the food when it eventually arrived was poor. Over cooked fish and squid. Squid rings I could have bounced off the floor!
