Excellent room and public areas. Good dinner. Attentive and helpful staff. Good value. Very dog friendly.
My bedroom was rather too warm and I was unable to open the window. It was possible to turn the radiator off - so not a serious problem.

The fire in the lounge area. The food was tremendous and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The place has changed little since our last visit.
Nothing. All good. Maybe a television in the longe would have been good in order to watch the six nations rugby.

Historic venue with a lot of thought into creating ambience and beauty. The large fier in the lounge was just a joy to relax in front of. 4 Beautifully decorated dining rooms which can be used by different parties. Our room was small but well decorated and very comfortable. On the edge of the village and accessible for wallks in the hills nearby. Staff were superb, especially maddie who seemed to be everywhere. You can get lunch or afternoon tea or dinner and also breakfast with the food on the upper level of quality.
