Perfect celebration ☺️

Beautiful hotel and rooms, my husband said it was one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The hotel left him a card and present on the side as a graduation present which was so kind. The bed was very comfortable and the shower amazing, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel has shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the shower which smelt amazing and they have lovely air fresheners around which we asked the sent for before leaving as it was so lovely. Location was perfect, plenty of shops, restaurants, bars etc near by and less than a 15 minute walk to the castle (in heavily pregnant minutes). Rooms are self check in, giving a code for the door and using a screen to produce your key card, the system was very fast and efficient so absolutely no problems there.

We stayed midweek and they were having some work done so there was some noise in the morning but can’t blame a hotel for construction really and it definitely didn’t ruin our stay.

Fabulous stay, would definitely come back!

Everything was fantastic! Check-in was smooth, the rooms were beautiful and they went above and beyond to make our anniversary stay special. Although it was contactless check-in, we were always able to get help whenever we needed something. Such a nice touch having coffee and pastries every day in the lounge.

There isn’t any parking, so we needed to drop off our bags first. The nearest parking lot was about a 10min walk but we didn’t mind.

Great location, very clean, nothing they haven’t thought about here!

Location was perfect and it was clean, felt very classy, especially for the price. Very impressed. Free pastries in the lounge on our departure which were delicious. Sister restaurant for breakfast was amazing. iPad in the room with really clear instructions. Well equipped kitchen area. Cloud nine hairdryer and straighteners. Had a beautiful smell. Was so impressed from the minute we walked through the door. Correspondence was fantastic. Would definitely stay again!

We didn't use the breakfast option.

My mum was using a wheelchair and I was pushing. My only fault was the very heavy doors and no magnetic catches to hold them back whilst trying to get my mum through the doors. I appreciate you have fire doors but a door stop could be attached that disengages when the fire alarm goes off. This would greatly assist disabled travellers.

Beautiful hotel ruined by false promises.

Lower rooms are exquisitely appointed. Nice lounge. Good location.

The staff likely has been trained to give the illusion that they care. We had to move rooms during our stay. Packed up the food in the refrigerator. Staff assured us they would put it in the refrigerator in the new suite and urged us to enjoy our day out while they moved us. We gave them a nice tip and thank you only to return to the unattended bag of rotten food sitting in the room when we returned. Ughh. Had to throw everything away. Other problems ensued but to top it off when we left one of us accidentally left our passport at the hotel. We called and they assured us that they looked everywhere in the room and it was not there—we knew it was so we had a relative drive to the hotel and look…and it was right there where we had asked them to look. The relative said it was obvious that no one from the hotel had even tried to look as it was clearly visible. Ended up missing the flight…lots of extra expenses and still stuck in Edinburgh. Such a shame that deception and a lack of basic human kindness could ruin an otherwise nice trip. In the end it is the lack of sincerity and callousness from the staff that ruined our experience. Shame on them.

Lovely amenities, location and breakfast

The hotel was lovely and very clean upon arrival. Check in was seamless and couldn’t fault it at all. The amenities were amazing and would definitely book again. The breakfast was across the road but again very lovely. All staff were super lovely

In the run up to our stay, I spoke to several members of staff regarding check in and departure times. I was specifically asked to give both times and I clearly stated it on a text. It was responded with ‘thank you for informing us of your check in and departure times’ - I reasonably thought the times were fine until a very lovely housemaid knocked on the door and told me that the time I had given was not allowed message - I showed her the messages between myself and the customer service stating the times and she said she was going to check with guest relations which was fine with me. Luckily we left just a bit before the estimated time I gave so it was fine but was quite disappointed with the lack of clarification on the hotels end as it then made it a stressful experience when leaving and had to be very careful not to leave anything! As a customer, more clarification I think is required for check in and departure times so there’s no confusion.

Superb in every respect. Great communication from booking to departure. Spotlessly clean. Polite and helpful staff. Room and communal areas tastefully decorated to a high standard. Well equipped kitchenette. Quality toiletries. Great location with main attractions in short walking distance. Nice touches like robes and slippers.

Used an umbrella from the stand which said I would get a refund when I returned it. No refund. The disappointing thing is that the owners then made me engage directly with the provider or the umbrella stand rather then just refunding my £20. Never got the £20 back

This was a great location, close enough to Old Town but still quiet and great access to restaurants on George St.

The location was amazing, easy to find from Princes street after taking the tram from the airport. It also smelled so good in the property and the room.

Check out is a bit early at 10a and it would be nice if there was someone around to help with bags. To be fair, there was amazing responsiveness via email but wasn’t quite worth arranging for in advance.

Excellent location, very helpful friendly staff, apartment very clean and of the highest standard. Comfortable bed, we slept very well. Nice breakfast in Cote. Overall, great stay!

Personally, i thought there was a slight overkill with all the electrics/electronics in the apartment There was so many switches in such a small apartment, it took 10 min to figure out how to switch all the lights off. There was even a button to close the blind...and a button to close a curtain. Electronic card, to get back into the building and the apartment, stopped working on second day so couldn't get back into the building. Excellent customer service though, someone was there to help us within 5 minutes. However, if we had an old-fashioned key none of this would have happened😄

The location was perfect. It was close to the bus/tram stops on George St and Princess St, nearby shops, restaurants and pubs. I was considering a hotel in the old quarters but I'm glad I avoided that as it was so congested with tourists. The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were gorgeous, comfortable and had all the amenities one would need. I also love the hang out space with drinks and pastries with a little lounge.

Bathroom was gorgeous but small. I didn't love the breakfast options. Some of the documents said the restaurant opened at 7am and other documents said 8am - it was 8am. I would have preferred 7am so I could have gotten my day started at 8am.

The room qas exceptionally decorated and modern and had everything we needed and more. The staff are friendly and there to help you if needed. We stayed for our honeymoon and had an amazing time.
