We had an absolutely FANTASTIC stay at Tigh Na Leigh with Karen and Graham. From our warm welcome to incredible (really incredible!) food (highly recommend booking in for dinner…) to our beautifully decorated room with first class facilities….
And a very beautiful garden….
This stay had it all! We would absolutely love to visit again and could not commend a stay here highly enough!

One of the best guesthouses I've stayed at and difficult to imagine anywhere better in this price bracket. Superbly furnished with two beautiful lounges for guests to use, including an honesty bar. A warm welcome from the owners who were happy to give local recommendations. Bed was very comfortable and room was very quiet. Excellent breakfast, freshly made to order with a range of options, and served overlooking the beautiful garden. An ideal stop before driving the Snow Roads scenic route through the Cairngorms.
It would have been nice to be able to eat takeaway food in the breakfast room as there aren't many options for dinner in Alyth, but I understand why the owners have decided not to allow this.

Property beautifully styled but also exceptional standards . Very personal touches throughout property such as fresh flowers, magazines, books , high end toiletries . Breakfast fabulous choice and beautiful setting all delivered by friendly welcoming hosts . Additionally , expert advice on trips and excursions proved by our host .

The hotel was beautiful and very welcoming, but the experience was ruined by the service and payment issues.
The "included breakfast" mentioned on their page was extremely limited.
Worse still, their card machine (POS) was not working. When I offered to pay via bank transfer, they refused to accept it and insisted that I withdraw cash instead, which resulted in a €30 withdrawal fee on my end. I would not recommend staying here until they fix their payment methods and provide what they advertise.
