Lovely weekend in The Ferry, wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Very clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely, they also let us take some rolls back to our room. All the staff are so polite and helpful.

Insomniacs welcome

Nice room and staff

Extremely loud house music played till 2am in the beer garden no forewarning of noise. Following this clearing up was also noisy follows by the seagull chorus . If you are happy to sleep from 345am till 4.30 this hotel is for you!

Nice room and hotel in great location

Room was on ground floor of street and noisy outside until just after 2am when the bar in the hotel shut with a lot of people continually passing back

We had a lovely stay in Broughty Ferry. The area has greatly improved since we visited 6 years ago.

Very clean, modern, comfortable and the location was good. Great furnishings from Gillies.

No decaf tea or coffee. Priced a little high.

The room location- room 21. We were on ground floor at reception -a disabled room. We looked on to bins and beer garden- on same floor as very busy pub. Could hear patrons clearly until after 2pm. The noise of bottles getting put in bin woke us up on the Sunday. My mum is 70 and was really not suitable at all - asked to move but no other rooms.

Would not return !

Everything. We were located in room 27 which was right above the front entrance to the lounge. The noise went on until after 2am. We could hear the music word for word and peoples conversations that were outside the bar. Then the wind was howling through the window for the rest of the night. We got around 2 hours sleep at the most. This was supposed to be a relaxing night away. We tried to speak to the hotel about this in the morning but it was a key drop. I sent a message through the Booking.com app to the hotel and have still not had a response.

A pleasant stay

The hotel is very well located for the Town of Broughty Ferry and within easy walking distance of the shops, cafes, restuarants, bars, seafront, parks etc. The Hotel has a nice beer garden at the rear of the property and offers nice food and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. Check in was easy and check out was simply handing back the keys in a drop box. The pub downstairs is very popular and was extremely busy when we went down. The room was clean and had all we needed for a one night stay.

The room was fine for a one night stay, however, it was small and if staying any longer I would advise booking a larger room. Also if you are a light sleeper, take ear plugs as it was a little noisy later on with revellers heading home from the town centre. Nothing to complain about the hotel though.
