The room was really lovely - large, nicely furnished, beautiful bedding and great views. The bathroom was also excellent and we loved the quality complementary bathrobe/slippers and toiletries. All the staff were lovely - welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The main restaurant wasn't open so we only had the club restaurant available. There was a massive telly showing the golf and live music that was too loud. Food was fine but nothing special. Absolutely fine as a 19th hole but not really what we wanted and didn't match the quality of the accommodation.

Cooked breakfast was good But choice of fresh fruit dried fruit nuts/seeds for cereal/granola was poor

Country retreat in the heart of Scotland.
With very friendly staff that was always helpful with our requests.
Food menu should have more variety, however we understand with the Refurb of the kitchen.

Staff were all very pleasant.
The bedroom. Was very warm, to be point of being uncomfortable. We had a meal and waited an hour and a half for the food. This was unacceptable.
