Everything your expected,varied selection and plentiful

Nothing, but been going to dunkeld house for special occasions and knowing it was our golden wedding we didn't get even a complimentary bottle of wine,on previous occasions it was acknowledged and appreciated, not the usual dunkeld standards

I really enjoyed my stay and made full use of the facilities. The swimming pool was perfect for cooling down during the hot weather, and both the wet and dry saunas were revitalising — a great way to unwind and reset. The breakfast was a standout. The buffet combined with the continental options offered a genuinely impressive selection. I tried the haddock on the first morning and the pancake compote, both of which were unique and delicious. The cooked breakfast was also excellent, with sausages, bacon, and both scrambled and fried eggs. The addition of salmon in the buffet was a nice touch, and the coffee machine offered great variety — espressos, mochas, hot chocolate, and Americanos were all lovely. Overall, the estate grounds and atmosphere of the hotel made the stay feel relaxing and special.

Unfortunately, the heatwave made the room quite uncomfortable. Being on the top floor during two days of 22°C weather meant the room was very warm at night. I left a note asking if the windows could be opened further, and although staff responded saying they had done so, I didn’t notice any difference. I understand the safety restrictions, but without air conditioning, it made the nights less comfortable than they could have been. The gym was also smaller than expected and lacked exercise bikes. It’s perfectly adequate during quieter times, but during busier afternoon and evening periods, I found it more enjoyable to use the pool and saunas instead.

Great location and lovely walk into the town

Tainted by the fact we left two items in the wardrobe but after phoning several times they are apparently not in lost properly . Shame because we had a fabulous stay otherwise
