It's in a very central location. Right next to all the tavernas and nightlife streets and the main square. It's located diagonally across from the harbor car park. All the staff were very respectful, polite, efficient, and helpful. Our bed, pillows, and duvet were of very good quality and comfortable. We had a very good night's sleep.

Unfortunately, the water was cut off until late at night on the day we arrived. It's a major drawback that a hotel of this size doesn't have a water tank. You come from a long journey and you can't even take a shower or wash your hands. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful, but all they could provide were two small bottles of water. The room had no heating other than the air conditioning, and the bathroom was very cold. I'm sure it would be a much better experience in the summer.

Overall, an amazing stay with truly exceptional and welcoming staff.

The staff was absolutely exceptional, so welcoming and attentive. Truly the best hotel team we’ve ever encountered.

The only issue we experienced was with the shower: the bathroom floor filled with water after each use and never fully dried during our stay. Additionally, the ventilation/AC duct had a rectangular lid that wasn’t properly secured. It moved easily when touched, which felt a bit unsafe.

Really enjoy this stay

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. When I asked if it was possible to change the room to have a bit more light, they were happy to do that. The new room seems newly renovated. And I especially liked that I could open the window, since I’m not a big fan of aircon during the night. The breakfast was nice. You can eat inside and outside. I especially enjoyed the omelettes with feta. You are 5 minutes to walk from the harbour/ocean. And really smack bang in the middle of everything. The receptionist also recommended one of his favourite restaurants nearby which turned out to be perfect. (Full of Meze - not even 5 minutes away.)

Great location. But that also means there is a lot of loud music near by.

Friendly welcome of the staff is the main reason to choose Plaza Hotel when I travel to Thessaloniki. Rooms are clean, breakfast is always fresh and has many alternatives. Location is excellent because of the distance to downtown.

Horrible

I had booked a two-night stay at this hotel and was assigned room 305. Unfortunately, the room had a terrible musty smell, which made it impossible to stay with the windows closed. We had to sleep with them open, but that led to another issue — the area around the hotel is full of bars with loud music, so we barely slept at all. The next morning, we checked out early as staying there any longer was simply not an option. It was a truly disappointing experience. To be fair, after speaking with the manager, the reception staff did offer us another room. However, since the building is old and nothing like the photos advertised online, we declined. In the end, they only refunded one night’s worth of parking and the city tax

If you want to party ALL night, this is for you.

The room was very nice with skylight windows and wall to ceiling windows. Nice sitting area and decor. The front desk and staff were very nice and helpful. Parking was very near at the port.

The location was near many restaurants and bars which was nice, EXCEPT a club or two are right below and they stayed open until 7:00 a.m. with loud music (Bass) and people yelling in the street all night. We only got a couple of hours sleep. Not for us but some people may enjoy it.

The location was good and there are big enough parkings nearby. The day-shift receptionist was doing a good job.

The rooms were too dark and one light bulb was not working at all. The hairdryer was not working. There were tiny water leaks in the bathroom. Soap was in the shape of a soap bar but no soap dish was available. And it wasn't cleaned very well.

Decent 3* hotel for a price of 4* hotel

Centrally located with incredibly helpful staff. In contrast to the rest of the room, the bathroom was very nice and renovated.

The room quality is not what it should be for the price. The noise from the streets was disturbing, even though my tolerance for noise is high. The room for breakfast was very busy and short of space in the morning.
