Not worth €150 a night.

Not many options for Breakfast. Definitely not continental breakfast as the receptionist claimed.

Had to pay extra €25 for a premium room that was the same with the normal rooms. Only difference is the slippers, water (500ml) and dental kit that available. I had to pay extra €2 for shaving razor blade as this was not included in the so-called premium room. Unbelievable! Rip off!

It would have been nice if they had more food options on the property as we didn’t have a car so kind of stuck there not much things to walk too.

Bit outdated, close to the airport - nothing too special but simply what you expect to get from IBIS.

Everything seems a bit outdated, rooms not too cosy. Just very functional hotel.

Very nice hotel and extremely nice staff.

Everything was very good. The staff was awesome. The hotel very clean. The breakfast was very good. The only reason I didn't rate the hotel a 10 was because the AC did not work very well. Room was much warmer than I preferred for sleeping.

Feasible hotel, but to far away from town.

The room was a good size and clean

The room could do with a refurbishment, it's getting a bit old. The location was terrible for visiting Florence. It was a 40 minutes ride to the city and the bus was absolutely terrible. To far away for us, we wasted a lot of time getting to town and back.

Adverage; served it's purpose.

Hotel ibis Firenze Nord Aeroporto was okay for a short stay. It’s close to the airport, which was convenient for an early flight, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff were polite and professional. The room was basic but clean—nothing fancy, but it served its purpose. Overall, it’s a decent option if you just need a place to sleep before or after a flight, but I probably wouldn’t choose it for a longer term.

The room felt a bit dated and could definitely use some refreshing. The bed was firmer than I prefer, and the TV was quite old—it didn’t have an HDMI port, so I couldn’t use my travel Firestick as I usually do. They advertise air conditioning, but when I visited in April, it wasn’t turned on yet. I was told they only switch it on closer to summer. To their credit, someone did come by and open the window for me, which helped a little. If you’re like me and prefer sleeping in a meat locker, I’d recommend calling ahead to confirm if the A/C will be on during your stay.

Poor experience, will avoid in future.

The room met expectations, property is quite out of the way, with only one public transport bus option available. It’s a decent property but more suitable to business travellers who get their transportation arranged from work or for people who travel with group tours thag use designated coaches.

Facilities gets negative points. Maybe more than 200 rooms and it had one, just one iron! The iron was kept in an ironing room where the guests can go iron their own clothes, the electricity connection tripped and there was no other option to iron your clothes. We travelled using public transport, I asked in writing options for public transport and was told I needed to take bus 30 from Firenze SMN station which was not the case. We had to take tram from Firenze SMN to Porta al Prato and then take the bus. This maybe a negligible or obvious information for a local person but for tourists that don’t speak the language in a country where many locals do not communicate in English, it’s hard to find the right stop. The toilet roll was not replaced and we ran out at around midnight, had to go to reception to collect the loo roll, staff were not able to deliver it to room - it was hotel policy. I appreciate that Ibis is a budget brand but it’s not a hostel kind of accommodation, the brand could certainly provide atleast some basic amenities, the prices are not that cheap after all.

The room was clean and was comfortable for a one-night stay.

The staff was not so helpful in giving advised during checking, especially when asking about help with taxi prices. Otherwise, we did not spend much time in the hotel to give further opinion.

Indifferent employee at front desk. No charm, no charisma, nothing special. Came across like we were an inconvenience. Air conditioning controls confusing because stencils have worn off. No directions. Had to switch rooms.

Hot, smelly and over priced

Room air conditioning was noisy and broken, the toilet had a sewage smell and breakfast was awkward to fill a water bottle for our onward journey. We arrived at midnight and just wanted to sleep. Not worth it if you are staying longer than 1 night.

Expensive "summer camp" but very close to the Airport.

Proximity to airport was great. That is this hotel's only good feature. The area is industrial and unkempt, and the hotel resembles and is run like a summer camp.

Hotel and room was hot and we were told by staff that we could not cool below 20 degrees C. The cooling was much above this temperature. TV Volume only went up half way. No meals were available except for particular groups. Hotel had no pool to help cool off. Rooms with 2 beds had small twin beds. I thought they would be double beds. Rooms were very small. Hotel was dated. Neighborhood is an industrial area that is safe during daytime but construction debris surrounded the area. Staff treated us like summer camp students.

it was very close to the airport. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. initial receptionist was not very helpful, he did not tell us we could buy water from the bar, where we could get breakfast or that we could get a snack in the evening.

Disappointing

Shower was better than expected. Friendly and accommodating staff, affordable accommodation. Sadly this is where the good ends.

Misleading- Air conditioning did not work. Facilities were old and dirty. Carpet needs a revamp. Hotel is a lot further out of town than you realise. Breakfast is underwhelming and average at best.
