The staff made us so comfortable and welcomed, especially as a solo mom with a toddler. From the kids menu at the onsite restaurant to the playground outside, it was a great place for our stay. Oh and breakfast was delish! They have a small variety of foods that includes fruit, cheese, meats, some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had in awhile and bacon. Plus a juicer and a coffee machine. We enjoyed walking to the hall and exploring while being fat enough away from it that we were closer to the alps and deeper in the community. There’s a lovely church and a vending machine across the road which had chilled milk and snacks and soda for very, very affordable prices. You’re located next to a walking/biking trail that we enjoyed exploring too. The hotel hosted three weddings/after party’s one of the nights we stayed there but the noise was nonexistent if we kept our windows closed. We even asked to order food after the kitchen was closed that evening (out of desperation) and they accommodated by providing an elaborate charcuterie board. Overall, the staff continued to go above and beyond to provide great service. Our room was located on a split level which was difficult with a stroller on my own, but one of the maids would almost always see me and offer to help. We didn’t speak the same language, but we didn’t need to. I was so grateful for her kindness. There was also a server that always asked if we needed anything. He was very kind and attentive and spoke great English. The staff at the front was very professional and kind and always happy to help as well. We felt like we were in great hands.
We have two complaints and a few comments. The blinds don’t do much to stop the sun from into the room. By 6 am our room was filled with bright light even though the blinds were all closed. This was consistent at our son’s nap time and bedtime which made him much harder to accommodate. Secondly, we said we wanted to pay in euros but when we used our card to pay we were charged in USD. This means we payed a higher conversion rate per euro and we had to pay a markup fee on top of it. I think it amounted to a $10 difference but it should’ve been avoided. Additionally, there’s no AC controller in the room. You have to ask the front desk if they can turn it down. The only time we wanted to call was when the weddings were going on but we didn’t want to walk down there to ask the staff for help. There’s also no mini fridge which I should’ve checked before booking. Those were small issues but they did affect the comfort of our stay.

Despite showing up at the time of check in, there was no staff at the counter, the main entrance was locked and the kitchen staff had to phone it in when I found them on a break.
