Good but expensive

The hotel is nice and located not far from the center of Karlsruhe. The room was clean. Ideal for a short stay.

The cost of one night in February was in my opinion too expensive without breakfast and in general any service. One should also realize that Karlsruhe is a small city without many things to offer so the prices should be in general lower. The hotel require to pay the city tax before or the day of arrival in order to access the room. This is a limitation especially if the arrival is late evening and nobody is at the reception. Strange that the payment cannot be done the day after.

Karlsruhe is a wonderful city and it’s nice to be central

The location was central and ideal for visit to the Film Festival

In the evening there was some loud arguments in the street below emanating from the pub just opposite. Has of course nothing to do with the hotel but it did cause a disturbance.

The location is excelent. And a lovely hotel. Despite a small problem to understand the Badrom that its private and super comfortable. The walls are in glass but is 100% private and inside the room.

Karlsruhe 25.

It's a 20 minute walk from the Railway station but the bonus is you pass Karlsruhe zoo and see Elephants and Peacocks roaming free inthe Park , The Hotel is Easy to Find, Staff were very Friendly and Breakfast was good, Easy in and out With your door Pass . The Area is a little Run down but the locals are a Very Close knit Community and there's a good range of Restaurants and Shops .

Maybe in the Warm weather a Mini Fridge for Drinks etc ?

The room was fine given the price, and the place is a short walk from the station.

It is not advertised that reception is not manned during the day. I arrived at 11am and had to convince someone through a doorbell to let me in so I could leave my bag. Checking in in the afternoon is absolutely fine, but if I’d known that It wasn’t even an option to leave my bag with reception so I can go out for the day I would have gone elsewhere

Clean room, but an obscure location.

The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The breakfast was good, nice coffee.

We will not come back to this hotel due to the location. There where many drunk men hanging around the area. Which did not give a friendly vibe to the place. The hotel could use a 24/7 doorman, due to all the men hanging around the hotel.

Cosy stay in Karlsruhe

Nice boutique hotel. It had all we needed for our stay. The service was at the highest level. The breakfast was tasty and even our daughter with strong allergies found a lot of meals to eat.

Very nice hotel!

The room was quite small but very nice and clean. We could have a good rest because there was no noise and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The shower pressure was really strong:) Also I’d like to especially note the incredibly friendly and helpful front desk staff and the delicious breakfast with lots of options.

There was no sockets near the bed, only one socket near the table and one in the bathroom. *Rather a peculiarity than a flaw: the bathroom walls are a bit transparent so I think the room is better suited to couples than to friends:)

I liked the breakfast, it was fresh and clean. Clean room with nice personal.

Pillow was so uncomfortable. There was no toothpaste. A small fridge to keep my sandwich and drink cool. A hot water kettle to make a tea or coffee.

Minimalist and cozy

This was such a surprise. I didn't expect a 3-star to be so nice. The hotel is minimalist but very cosy. The room was spacious and clean. I was particularly happy with the check-in experience, the gentleman there was very helpful and professional.

Very quiet room. Spotlessly clean. I met five members of staff and they were all very helpful and kind. The breakfasts were freshly cooked.

A minor chore of having to sign on to the wifi every day. The lack of coffee facilities in the room.

The room was lovely, spacious and newly renovated. The bed was comfortable.

We booked a double room, and were told when we arrived they didn't have any and we'd have to sleep on a single bed and couch. This was not a great first impression. Thankfully, the guy at the front desk upgraded us to a double bed, as I was not going to pay to sleep on a couch!

backpackers in a real hotel, such luxury

friendly staff, eventhough my son and I arrived late in the evening and were clearly backpacking. bed were excellent. i liked the hangers behind the door instead of a closet that just takes space (devil is in the details). shower was the best of our holiday (14 days in 12 different locations)
