Really good stay in Liverpool, would use Crowne Plaza again.

Loved the large reception area (and beautiful tree), the really accommodating staff (from checking in, to coming outside and showing us directions to somewhere), the lovely room and comfortable beds etc. The breakfast was a really good buffet and the nicest scrambled egg I have had in years!! The location of this hotel was excellent.

A really small niggle, is that more varieties of unsliced bread at breakfast would have been great to go with continental breakfast and more varieties of cheeses.

Expensive for average stay

Breakfast was good and the sports centre. My wife used the pool and said it was excellent. The facilities looked clean and tidy. The Crowne Plaza is close too town so you could esily walk in. Great view out of our window.

Rooms were small. Bathroom the ceiling had condensation/water damp patches on them. Toilet did not flush properly. Quilt end cover was stained. All these are preventable by good room checking. This is not what you would expect from the Crowne Plaza.

Need to clearly communicate restrictions and deep clean the bath rooms. Overall good.

Room was ok but bathroom needed more of a deep clean. Breakfast and Location both excellent.

The fact that there are restrictions of when under 12s can use the pool should be clearly advertised when making a booking or worse case when checking in and not when you turn up with your Family to go for a swim and you only have 30 mins left before children are not allowed in the pool.

Lovely friendly hotel with brilliant staff.

From arriving in the car park and being greeted by the man on the door who showed us where to park, the friendly staff just continued. Brad on reception was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about what we asked him about the local area. He was very friendly and approachable. The staff we encountered in the corridors were all very welcoming and staff at breakfast the following morning were also very jolly and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Having to leave!! We only had a short stay and wished that we could have stayed longer - we will be back!!

Overall a very enjoyable experience and would go back.

Staff were very helpful and answered our request for a low floor. Location was excellent and easy to find.

Parking was a rip off, cheaper in other car parks. Restaurant for breakfast was too hot, no A/C. No towel rails in bathroom to hang small towels.

It was a last minute decision to stay over as we were in the city for a gig. Location was a big factor when booking and it is well placed for everything we needed.

The vegan sausages could possibly be better but that is the only issue we had and it wasn’t a deal breaker for coming back.

Liverpool is a fantastic place to visit and the hotel is outstanding,

Excellent food, amazing friendly staff, come has a guest and feel like your leaving friends. Great bar and sitting area and lovely pool.

The only downside for us is the bathroom, really need walking showers, we did ask for a bathroom with handrails which we recieved but my husband who has mobility issues and dementia still strugggled. I know there showers in spa area but he does need assistance and he felt uncomfortable using them.

Excellent experience

Could not fault this hotel, all the staff are friendly and helpful particularly Janet on reception who once she booked us in and realised it was a Birthday surprise provided us with complimentary drinks voucher. They go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Location is excellent for the Waterfront and City Centre.Spa is well worth a visit.
