Breakfast & evening meal were amazing! Enjoyed using the spa facilities. Staff were very attentive & Location very good.
Parking a bit pricey at £19.50. Have stayed in another Crown Plaza hotel which had more modern decor in the room.

The staff were lovely, right from checking in to checking out !
And the doormen were fantastic, and Frank on the door was an absolute gem !
Maybe more options on the tv like Netflix or a way to stream yourself !

The room was clean, large and, for us, a perfect temperature. A view of the Liver Building was a bonus.
The hotel was very well situated for the Waterfront area and easy walking distance from the Castle Street restaurant area.
Breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff were cheerful and very helpful (especially Pepe, who was a joy!)
The shower was a little bit confusing at first and also a little low for a tall (6') person
A bulb in the room was blown (but not an essential one so we forgot to mention it to staff)
It would be clutching at straws to come up with any real thing to dislike!

Location. Helpful reception staff on arrival (unfortunately that's where the service ended).
Here’s a better-structured version, with the facilities section placed more logically before the restaurant experience and overall summary:
Very poor value for money.
The hotel feels dated throughout and is badly in need of refurbishment. Unfortunately, the service did not compensate for this. The majority of staff did not appear particularly aware of guests, and there was a noticeable lack of attentiveness.
We paid £220 for a Sunday night in a twin room, plus an additional £20 for parking, which the booking site led us to believe was included. For what was provided, this felt expensive from the outset.
Use of the pool required booking a time slot in advance. We went at 5pm and there were around 25 people in a 20m pool, which felt crowded and far from relaxing. Although gowns were provided in the room, there were no slippers, meaning guests were walking around the poolside area in outdoor shoes — not ideal from either a comfort or hygiene perspective.
We were staying with our six-year-old and opted to have dinner in the hotel for convenience. There were only two other couples in the restaurant and four visible members of staff, yet service was slow and disorganised. Orders were delayed, and after taking our food order they forgot to take our drinks order entirely. Staff seemed more focused on room service than the restaurant.
The food itself was average at best, and portion sizes were surprisingly small — more like starter portions (sea bass and beef bourguignon). With a bottle of wine and our child’s pizza, the bill came to over £100. For the lack of ambience and the level of service provided, this felt excessive.
Overall, this stay felt significantly overpriced for the experience delivered.

Everything about the hotel was fantastic. We stayed near Christmas so it made our stay even more exciting. We will be back to Liverpool and will stay here agagain and again
We were there with my husband brothers and partners celebrating my husband 70th birthday. The atmosphere was fantastic with so much to see and do.

Comfortable clean room, helpful restaurant staff.
Stairs not available except in event of fire. Pool facilities ok, but rather dominated by rough young men around 4.30-6.00pm, who dived in, were loud and kicked the recliners around, whilst a children's swimming lesson was going on.

Location
The Shower in our room was pitiful and the TV didn’t allow for any streaming services or casting. I would expect a lot more for £300 for a night. No parking or breakfast included either, so not great value at all.

Loved the large reception area (and beautiful tree), the really accommodating staff (from checking in, to coming outside and showing us directions to somewhere), the lovely room and comfortable beds etc. The breakfast was a really good buffet and the nicest scrambled egg I have had in years!! The location of this hotel was excellent.
A really small niggle, is that more varieties of unsliced bread at breakfast would have been great to go with continental breakfast and more varieties of cheeses.

Breakfast was good and the sports centre. My wife used the pool and said it was excellent. The facilities looked clean and tidy. The Crowne Plaza is close too town so you could esily walk in. Great view out of our window.
Rooms were small. Bathroom the ceiling had condensation/water damp patches on them. Toilet did not flush properly. Quilt end cover was stained. All these are preventable by good room checking. This is not what you would expect from the Crowne Plaza.
