Fantastic value for money

The facilities and venue far exceeded my expectations given the price. The room was very comfortable and very quiet with a great selection of premium TV channels. Great location and very friendly staff.

Location is great, right in the city centre and the staff were very helpful and pleasant

Clean, comfortable and welcoming

Very clean and ambient and comforting! The staff are absolutely lovely and the whole experience was just so simple and easy and the prices are amazing I stayed with my boyfriend after he had been away for a while and we liked it so much we came back a few days later because it’s just so clean and convenient.

I do wish the rooms had windows but honestly the price and the cleanliness and staff makes up for it.

Handy hotel

Great location - close to shops and nightlife. Accomodation suited us for a night out in Liverpool.

Rooms were quite compact with no space on one side of the bed. Bathroom had opaque glass. This however didn't affect us as we were a couple but I wouldn't have wanted to share with a friend.

The staff were all welcoming and very helpful throughout. The location was great.

The room is designed for practicality and not comfort. Facilities stated the hotel has parking which is incorrect. There is parking near by but it is an additional cost. Weekend costs are expensive but this is probably due to the location and other places in the city will have similar costs.

Brilliant Hotel

Brilliant hotel very clean, quiet, well appointed, great shower small windowless room but didn't bother me superb for a long weekend, great position around the corner from all the bars and restaurants and 5 minutes to the Mersey, check in easy.

Shower head was leaking but I had a spare washer in my wash bag for some reason so fixed it myself 😁

Cheap and cheerful.

Great little single room for a one night stay. Central location. Requested a nice view and got a nice one of liver building etc. Free bottle of water so saved me having to pick one up on way home. Sky tv, bed was comfy. For the price was a bargain. Clean and tidy.

Lift took ages to get up and down. Everything was a bit small and compact, from the foyer to the room, it was perfect for one person, but would maybe have been a bit small if travelling with my wife. Cheap and cheerful tho, and you get what you pay for.

Well..... it could have been worse ..... but it could have been so so much better

*The location - central to everything you need *The size of the room *The room clean *The bed - it isn't as bad as the reviews say the bed it *One member of staff was really good who sorted out a issue I had

*Z Hotel - it is a cashless hotel. I only bring this up as if you have arrived from overseas and you have to pay the local tax on arrival you may only have a international bank card with you. *Staff - generally the staff members seems to just be going through the motion on being there. The person who checked me in was bad I had to repeat myself at least three times before he choose to listen. Another staff member when I told them about the issue with the pillows just ignore my complaint and said other people like them *The pillows are awful - they have no structure to them. Which is different to if they are to hard or soft *WIFI - it is very hit or miss. I do know this can be out of control of the hotel re weather. *It is very weird when you check in you go to what is the cafe/bar area of the Z hotel to check in. You can clearly see another area which was clearly the reception area they are not using for some reason. *Out of the three lifts they have for some reason they have one working. There is a sign up saying maintenance that why the other two aint working. For a 8 story hotel with one lift..... hmmmm what can I say *In the bathroom area there is more than enough space to hang more hooks as you only have one hook to hang things up in. *For some reason there was police seated outside one of the rooms for at least roughly 36 hours of my stay.

It was clean and friendly staff

Only one lift up and down 8 stories, which was ridiculously busy at check out times - massive queues on each floor to get down to reception - also the stairs were locked preventing you from using alternative means of getting downstairs. There were three lifts in total but only one available to guests - z hotels should look at making them all available and also the stairs accessible. The “en suite” toilets and showers were a glass cubicle with misted out windows / not a separate room to the hotel room - which was very odd - cluttered and too small and very awkward even with my girlfriend for going to the toilet in “privacy” - also the beds are very hard, and not particularly comfortable.

Great value for the money and perfect location

Small room but it very smartly utilized the space available. I never felt cramped. Shower was very nice.

Personally would've liked to have some blackout curtains. Next time I'd probably book a non-window room.
