Fantastic price, location and service. Very friendly staff too.

For the price the location and facilities are excellent for a budget stay. We staying over to watch Everton play and it’s a near as you could reasonably expect to be. Nice easy 20 min walk. We used the on downstairs and the prices and food were great.

We literally had the best time. No negative things to say.

Below Average facilities for price we paid for the room

The location is excellent for close access to bars and was a good atmosphere in the pub downstairs.

Rooms are very basic for the price paid, was mould in the bathroom, ironing board was in very poor state, rooms are noisy and could’ve been blacked out a lot better

City Gem

Perfect little gem. A clean, comfortable central location. A busy welcoming pub below and walking distance to the docks and city, surrounded by eateries and amenities. The room was fresh and clean. The bed was so very comfortable, and they provided tea and coffee along with ear plugs (you're booking a room above a busy pub in a central location - there's going to be some noise. If you need total quiet to sleep, this is not for you. Book a rural country escape) Staff were lovely and friendly and deserve a big thank you. A characterful pub with lots of history and they serve a great pint.

Just a heads up to travellers with any mobility issues. This is an old historical building with lots of steps into the accommodation and a short flight of stairs to the pub. No lift or ramp.

Decent accommodation but instructions needed for tv set up

Tv was extremely difficult to set up 2nd stay here and thought it was just an issue with the tv in the first room at first but experienced same issue. Toilet was running all night so the sound of running water kept me awake. Breakfast was ok! Didn’t get eggs on one breakfast and toast was burnt but not major issues. Had a different room this time and was noisy with bottles in the morning

There’s no welcome on the mat at this hotel.

Location

No internal elevator. No reception. No phone in room. Drunk came into the room scaring the wits out of my vulnerable adult daughter. Overpriced. Cold room, radiator came on but then went off around ten. Only left 3 teabags. Got them to bring a few more but they brought no extra milk. Staff unfriendly. I explained my husband is 74 with a bad heart, there’s no elevator so I asked for the money back to go somewhere else and was told no. I’m thinking of going to the Liverpool tourist board with this. This is totally u acceptable.

Great location, comfortable room with lovely decor, friendly welcome and easy check in. Great value and tasty breakfast in the Slaughter House, will stay again on our next trip to Liverpool.

Fantastic hotel

Fantastic location with very friendly staff.

Really enjoyed our overnight stay in Fenwick Sunrise. The location was fantastic, right next to James St Station. So handy for all the shops, bars and restaurants. Very quiet at night, lovely breakfast in the morning. Our only issue is that we couldn't get the tv to work properly (the screen kept going blank). The staff were so friendly and let us keep our bags there once we had checked out. Would highly recommend this place. Perfect for Xmas shopping trips.

Staff were very welcoming and nothing was a problem even taking my luggage up the 45 stairs that I hadn't realised when booking Otherwise excellent place to stay

There are 45 stairs to climb and one very heavy door to get through so unless you're fit then this hotel is not for you

Superb stay- Fabulous venue

Ladies were fabulous, so lovely, helpful and friendly. Box of biscuits and ear plugs were a fantastic surprise which we really appreciated. The ladies couldnt do enough for us- Thank you to everyone. Breakfast was perfect and served quickly.

Great hidden gem.

Great place to stay, great location ideal for Liverpool centre ,and 4/5 min walk from Liverpool one Bus station. The picture doesn't do the bathroom justice very big. Great hot shower/ bath. The room itself .had everything u need best of all was the bed , best nights sleep I have had in a long time.The room is in building beside pub, check in there that's Ur reception nothing wrong with that asked my name gave key that simple . so have ur own entrance and up stairs, has it all .also 3 min walk from cavern. But Far enough away for sleeping after so quiet. Don't waste Ur money anywhere where else.as good as anything ,only thing if u have mobility problems it has no lift ,just stairs so unfortunately this is not for you. Otherwise top notch I'll be back.

Great place to stay friendly staff, big clean rooms with large bed. Spotless bedding and towels excellent hotel for the price in central location .

Very noisy at night but to be expected as under a pub. Staff do leave earplugs which helps a little, it was a hot night so had to open windows as no air con. Also there are no ordinary tv channels . It didn’t put us if staying again though .

For short term visitors like us, the location was very good. Most things we wanted to do were within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and having ear plugs in the rooms (though we didn't need them) was a nice gesture.

It was so hot outside and there was no air in the room! There was a fan but could only put it on low as it was too noisy to sleep.

Fun, classy, comfortable, enjoyable, very friendly staff, nice cosy room and a rare triple bed find.

Amazing, lively central location but cozy room above the pub/comedy club, meant you felt away from any noise, but still in the heart of the nightlife in the amazing city centre.

Just aircon would have been nice, but understandable not to have in an older building. The two fans in the room were a nice alternative, showing attention to detail from staff. Many thanks.

Small hotel with maybe 5 rooms but lovely and quiet in a great area if the City. Hosts very helpful and was a great choice for our stay. Highly recommend

Great room and location

Lovely big room , good shower ,comfortable bed , tea and coffee provided , two flights of stairs to the room towels provided with soap and shampoo , good hot shower , free wifi and good tv with Netflix etc , unfortunately the bar below was closed but a lovely bar/grill next door , , we had trouble with our key it was difficult to open the door ,but the neighbours came to our rescue and helped us get in the property , owners were very responsive and came to us within half hour with a new key , this hotel is in a great location within minutes of bars ,shops and James st train station , we would stay again
