Anthony on reception was fantastic, a lovely greeting as we arrived , a charming young man who looked immaculate .
We love room 616 very clean big comfy bed and great bathroom . We went out to a jazz club and returned to hotel and room service , again super service by a nice young man and the food was excellent . It was nice and quiet on the sixth floor .
Next morning we had a nice breakfast again great staff .
We Will definitely be returning thank you team Hilton

A bit of feedback is that a £50 security deposit is charged, and takes 3 to 5 business days to be returned.
Staff were very friendly. Hotel clean and tidy. Heating did not work in the room.

Room was clean bed was comfortable but was kept awake most the night by the footfall of other guests doors slamming.
Ordered a drink from the bar as a nightcap and was charged £36.30 for a double brandy & ice. Nearly fell off my buffet. Check in was a bit cold the receptionist did come across a bit frosty. Checkout was a lot better.

Dear Hotel Manager,
I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Liverpool, room number 604.
Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing and far below the standard I expect from a Hilton property.
Firstly, when I attempted to order food, I was informed that there were no sandwiches available except for one tuna option. Shortly after, I was told that no sandwiches were available at all. As an alternative, I ordered a Margherita pizza, which arrived completely burnt and very hard, making it extremely difficult to eat. This is unacceptable food quality for a hotel of this reputation.
Secondly, and more importantly, I had a very unpleasant interaction with a reception staff member named Cony. She was extremely rude, unprofessional, and spoke in a disrespectful manner to both me and my partner. Her attitude and behavior were shocking and made the situation even worse. This kind of treatment towards guests is unacceptable and does not reflect Hilton’s values or standards of hospitality.
I am requesting that this complaint be reviewed seriously, and I would like to receive a response directly from the hotel manager explaining how this matter will be addressed. I also expect appropriate action to be taken regarding both the service issues and the staff behavior.

Room cold , plumbing issue in Bathroom so would t take a bath . Breakfast extremely poor , very little hot food. Breakfast on PDF menus is classed as a la Carte breakfast and you are only allowed have the buffet . Standing around waiting for food . I have never experienced this in any other Hilton .

The room was very cold, we were given a small heater which was useless, we all got a cold because of this stay. Carpets very dirty, it will do with renovation, we could hear the people booked above us walk and this disturb our sleep throughout the night. We had to constantly ask for milk , sugar etc. it was a waste of money. I will never recommend anyone to go there .

Check in was smooth and easy. Receptionist was lovely and friendly. We booked a superior king size room. The room itself was lovely but the curtains were closed and when we looked out realised it was for a reason. The view was literally the back of the hotel so not the best.
The bathroom was lovely with a fab bath and separate shower. The bed was comfy as were the pillows.
The only thing that let this stay down was the breakfast. We went down to the restaurant around 8.45am and there was very little hot food available. Myself and my husband ended up eating at separate times due to having to wait for the hot items to be replenished. The coffee machine had run out of milk and there was no butter available.
If the breakfast had been better this would have been a great stay.

Was severely disappointed with this hotel. Stayed here for one night on business, Oct 2025. The staff were efficient and nice enough. But that was where it ended unfortunately. The hotel rooms are spacious but the whole place feels run down and tired and in desperate need of a refurb. The food options aren't great and the place was noisy. I was also looking forward to a swim in the pool. I arrived late so had missed the opportunity, but I was then told I'd need to book and pay for a slot to use it in the morning. I've stayed in more hotels than I can remember and can honestly say I can't recall ever being charged to use facilities such a s pool as a guest. Just feels opportunistic and cheap, especially for a brand as large and well-known as Hilton. Business prevented me from booking in the end but unsure if I would have stuck around even if I could have. The whole experience has made me less inclined to use Hilton in future.

I requested and pre - paid for extra additions to the room on arrival as it was supposed to be a suprise for my girlfriend. These requests were not met so these additons i payed good money for had no effect. I was also injured by slightly catching my arm on the unsafe, sharp ridged shower pole, causing heavy bleeding. When i attended the reception desk to report the staff showed no concern and first aid was not readily availabile. I have contacted the hotel and have not yet had a response. Hoping they respond soon so i dont have to take the matter further.

This was a pleasant stay , had trouble finding the place when we arrived , place is quite out dated and needs some maintenance work doing , pillows are very soft and rooms are not sound proof neighbours were noisy coming and going talking loud outside room and doors being slammed late at night

We eere greeted with a very friendly welcome from Conny who checked us in.
Going to the room the lifts and corridors were spotless and smelt so fresh!
The room was a great size , very clean and the bed is the comfiest i have slept jn for a very long time ( im never comfy in hotel beds).
The shower was great and the rolm had everything we needed.
I would definitely stay here again if Inwas visiting the area.

Over all the hotel was good, the breakfast was fantastic as were the staff, the only issue was that there was a mould issue in the bathroom, if i was staying for more than a night i would have asked to switch rooms as you could smell it as soon as you walked in. You could see where that water had been leaking around the bath and separate shower, there were cracked tiles everywhere. some one had clearly tried to carry out repairs, but really badly. You would be better off taking it apart and starting again, i would hate to see what the damage was like behind it all. Would it stop me from staying there again, definitely not, you get this sort of stuff every now and again and it is what it is. As i said great staff, great breakfast, good location.

We had a room on the top floor. Air conditioning wasn't working, reception staff we unable to help and we had to sleep with 2 fans in the room. Far from ideal, it did not make for a good night's sleep at all.
Unfortunately many spa facilities were also out of order. Not impressed with that either.

front desk staff were extremley friendly on arrival, room was clean comfortable, bed comfortable, pillows were flat,
had evening meal in the hotel very tasty but lacking the salad that was advertised
breackfast in the morning was disapointing
was going for the continental of cheese meats salad
as i tucked in to the tomatoes that looked they had a covering of black pepper a whole load of flies came up
i told the chef he said he would tell the manager, the same tomatoes were still on the counter when we left, i tried the cooked breackfast and took a piece of sausage which was grease i decided to get a yougurt this was warm and the lid was swollen, the waiter dismissed my concerns.
if i was to stay again i would not take the breackfast. although i have always had a good breackfast in other hilton hotels

Expensive for what this is in my experience. Stayed in superior room but nothing extra. Not even a bottle of water in the fridge. Hated the king size bed which was just two singles put together with the obvious join making it uncomfortable. TV had so many channels missing or not working. Breakfast over priced. Careful when you book because if you want to use the pool/ spa you have to pay extra to use it. Ridiculous.

The DoubleTree Hilton was an excellent choice for our stay in Liverpool. Close to the city centre and only a 10 minute walk to the Albert dock. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were great. Would very much recommend the Koukash for an evening meal.
