The room is spacious the beddings were very nice and comfortable the bed is nice to sleep in. the breakfast was good. staff are so nice I would book again and will certainly recommend to all my friends and families

Very clean, fresh, friendly staff (Dave), helped with luggage. Excellent shower room. Good selection for breakfast. Poached eggs the best I've had for a long time. Very close to ferry terminal.

Nothing to dislike. Would have been nice to have a lift but at the price exceptional.

Stay with a family

This a humble property that is elevated by the wonderful family who run it, they make you feel at home. It is clean and our bathroom looked recently renovated. It was located just by the Mersey ferry terminal. Breakfast very tasty.

Exceptional Say

Loved the Location. Just over the Mersey from Liverpool and into the quiet of Birkenhead. Many thanks to Dave and his family for welcoming us. Their hospitality was second to none. Dave even lent us a metro card for the days we were there, even better was the cooked breakfast every morning. Thanks again for the say. Will be back again.

Exceptional value for money as this included a decent choice of breakfast. Was met and welcomed in such a warm and friendly manner. Always chatty despite being very busy, making the time for the customers. Very easy access to attractions in the area being only a short distance by taxi. Excellent value for money in a surprisingly good location

We stayed here after arriving on the evening ferry from Belfast - and it proved to be a comfortable and friendly establishment to stay at before carrying on home. It would actually make a very good base for a Liverpool city break given the nearby public transport and excellent value for money - something we are now considering for a future date.

A small hotel that gives everything that is expected; clean, comfortable and with a friendly staff

Polite and friendly staff. The welcome and introduction was excellent. The room was spacious and clean. My stay was on the hottest night of the year but a comfortable bed and a good quality fan allowed for an undisturbed sleep. Breakfast was as good as previous guests had mentioned. The car park at the rear of the property is a good size.

Great stopover for The Open in Portrush. Dave is a great host.

Dave was a really friendly with a great sense of humour ( missed here Germany!) The breakfast was excellent and very pleasant to eat in the conservatory. As someone from the Wirral it was lovely to have a view of the Liverpool waterfront and the Mersey! Really fantastic to be only 4 minutes from the ferry terminal to Belfast.

The location is brilliant just a short bus journey to train station then train into Liverpool centre or could catch the ferry. Staff very friendly, welcoming and provided a lot of information on what we could visit. Breakfast was amazing. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Would highly recommend.

Hidden gem on the Wirral

The staff were very friendly and made us very welcome. The room was spacious and very clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent with a decent range of options. Breakfast was also cooked to order. Very quiet location so not a lot of noise at night. Local eateries are easily accessible with a short walk or short taxi ride for those who aren't as mobile. Excellent hotel and I woukd thoroughly recommend.

Great place to stay.

Very comfortable beds. The breakfast was timely, well presented and very nice. The staff member on duty was great. He was polite, respectful, friendly and very helpful. Even helped to change tyre on the car, giving us directions to a tyre place before we left. We would highly recommend this place and will stay again.
