The hotel is above a busy pub, we knew this in advance and we were happy with this, but this might not to be everyone's needs

The location was good. Fair proximity to the local shops and good places for breakfast
The door wasn't opening from inside unless you put real effort with two hands. And it didn't even have a proper handle. The children couldn't open it themselves at all.
The noise and music from the pub downstairs didn't give us any chance to sleep till midnight.
No sound insulation at all
