Everything about The Liver view is perfect. The check in process was swift and hassle free. David was there to welcome us,and showed us to a lovely room. The bed was very comfortable with high quality linen and a duck down quilt. The Liver view staff - David ,Shirley and Kai's mothher were so helpful and welcoming we felt like we were staying with family.

The owner was great, we were running late because of the terrible weather and he waited for us to arrive. The room was spotless and of a high standard. The location was great with a good location next to the Mersey Ferry. The breakfast was really nice as was the lady who served us, she was really chatty and made us feel welcome.The staff were really helpful and gave us some great advice. Lovely stay with lovely people ( their little dog was a superstar too)

This is a great option if you don't want to pay city centre prices. The room was spacious, spotless, the beds were comfortable with nice linen. The shower was great and it was nice and quiet and dark, we slept really well. You were also able to control the temperature in the room very easily. Also nice to stay in a genuinely run family hotel with lovely people in charge. We would stay again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi wasn't useable where I was in the hotel, but I feel if I had brought it up they would have fixed it, as they were very helpful. Breakfast is the best part of the stay, it is made to order.

The Liver View Hotel is an excellent place to stay, just a short ferry ride across the Mersey from Liverpool. The view of Liverpool from my room was stunning. Dave is a friendly and hard working host. The room was excellent, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom clean and efficient. I loved the morning breakfast, which is substantial and tasty. (I would suggest adding yogurt and fresh fruit to the options :>) I had a great stay and recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel staff are so friendly making us feel welcome. It is convienent for getting around, has parking and the breakfast is amazing. Would definately stay here again on next trip to Liverpool, may not be luxurious but the welcome makes it my choice.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a concert in Liverpool. The hotel was warm, clean and the rooms cosy. The owner was friendly and helpful and provided us with advice on the transport links into Liverpool. The hotel is within minutes of the ferry terminal so it was no problem getting into Liverpool. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the lady serving breakfast was also very friendly…When visiting Liverpool again I would not hesitate to stay here .

Dave was an amazing host. Breakfast was great and beds were comfortable Only real negative was the wifi. Even with a booster in upper hallway we lost reception upon entering our room. Easy access across the Mersey River by ferry to Liverpool. Dave proved us with cards to load for the bus/ferry system Convenient location and free car parking off the street. Would definitely stay again

It was brillant from start to finish the parking was ample for about 10 cars. It was 5 minutes away from the Seacombe Ferry Terminal also if you walk up St Paul road then turn right to Poulton road the bus stop is just there and takes you to Liverpool Centre. At a cost of £2 each way and takes about 15 minutes to city centre. The Hotels is a two storey building but you can pick what floor you want solong as they have the rooms are available, breakfast was brillant you could have any you want within reason, WIFI in all rooms with tea and coffee. The bathroom had a walk in shower. They have a pool table downstairs if you fancy it The hospitality was brillant and that nothing was too much trouble. We have been in over 30 hotel's all over Europe this year including Paris and this hotel was easily the best we have been in and as for the Price so cheap. All i can say is that we will definitely be going back here again, highly recommend. David was the manager a realy nice person.

My sister and I stayed for a long weekend. Dave was very welcoming and very informative about the area. The room was airy and with the most wonderful comfortable beds. It was immaculately clean. The breakfast was lovely every morning, with a good choice of things to have. A lovely hotel which is situated within walking distance of the Mersey ferry, with good bus links to New Brighton, Birkenhead and Hamilton Square. We would definitely stay there again.

Its a family run hotel the lounge aera is needing attention but the rooms are spotless beds are comfy Dave and his mother cant do enough for there guest's they are really nice and go out there way to help you with anything they also have Metro cards that you can use for the public transport all you have to do is active them by putting £6.50 in them for the day which you do at the loco shop and thats your public transport sorted for the day

Dave, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Place was very clean. Free parking was a bonus. Mersey ferry was literally a 2 minute walk. Would recommend here for a quiet break.

Booked the Liver View a little unsure as the price seemed almost too good to be true, but I needn't have worried - it was absolutely fabulous. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful which instantly made us feel at home. My room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the iconic view of the Liver Building was a real highlight - such a special touch you'd expect from somewhere far more expensive. Breakfast was lovely, freshly prepared and with plenty of choice to set us up for the day. The location was ideal too: peaceful and convenient with easy access to the ferry across to the Albert Docks and central Liverpool. We were there just for an overnight stay as we were playing golf at Wallasey, 4 of us each in our own rooms. Perfect! Overall, the Liver View far exceeded our expectations. It offers great value without compromising on quality and the warmth of the staff really made the experience stand out. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming comfortable base when visiting Liverpool.

We had the best time staying at The liver view the bedroom was lovely with a great view, clean and comfortable beds! The hospitality was incredible such lovely people and extremely helpful with anything we asked and the breakfast was the tastiest that we have had in a long time. The place its self is situated in a convenient location with the ferry to Liverpool being a 2-3 min walk. There is a news agents over the road and home bargains, again, 2-3 min walk away. I have not a single bad word to say and I’m already looking for an excuse to go and stay again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thank you to the very friendly & helpful owner, Dave. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Good shower. Lovely breakfast. Even provided a tower fan due to the heatwave. Very close to the ferry terminal. Dave also advised a Metrolink pass for my visit to the Antony Gormley art installation at Crosby beach (a thought-inspiring and brilliant place to visit). Only thing that would have made it even better would be blackout curtains as the daylight woke me at dawn.

From arrival this hotel and Dave and Co superseded our expectations. On arrival we were allocated our free parking in site and offered help with luggage. We were given advice on local area and travel tips that made things super cheaper for us! Dave was super nice and friendly, probably the best host we have ever encountered. We were taken to our room, which again superseded our expectations, it was spacious, modern, clean and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy as were the pillows and duvets. Breakfast the next morning, included with our stay was the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. It was in a freshly decorated light airy room, with tablecloths and quality dinnerware. There was a cereal choice, toast and jams, and then cooked breakfast choice with your eggs anyway you like them. This arrived promptly and freshly made along with a pot of tea, coffee was available next to the cereal. All the breakfast was of a very high quality and the toast was such lovely bread. Our bed was made daily and fresh towels if needed. We didn’t use the hotel much apart from as a base but there is a lounge area, which includes TV and pool table. There is also a bar area but not sure if this is in use. There is a ‘singhsburys’ over the road were you can buy snacks or alcohol and top up travel cards and a ferry pick up very close by. We were very impressed by this hotel and would definitely use again.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would! The friendliest and kindest staff, thank you for your generosity and hospitality during our short stay! Made me a vegan breakfast every morning and gave us great tourist and travel advice which made our trip even smoother. Beautiful clean rooms and lovely bedding and shower facilities. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Liverpool. Thank you to your lovely family for taking such good care of us!

Fantastic family run hotel. Clean with private car park. Spacious rooms and a pool table. Safe key fob entry. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. A two minute walk from the ferry terminal. We had a very pleasant stay and would book this hotel if traveling to Liverpool again.
