The Liver View

Owners were great and the location offers easy access to both the ferry, bus and subway (the Metro Card all day pass after 9:30am offers real value). Property and room were clean and the onsite parking lot was easy to get in and out of. A joy getting to meet and speak with the owners. Be sure to ask about the history of the place. Fantastic story of hard work, great attitude and building a quality business.

The location for visiting Liverpool was brilliant with the iconic 'Ferry cross the Mersey' just a 10 minute walk away as well as regular and frequent buses to other parts of the Wirral. We had a great view from our room over the Mersey to Liverpool. Our room was really comfortable, breakfast freshly cooked and delicious. Dave and his lovely Mum went out of their way to make us welcome with excellent advice about where to go and how to get there. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to see Liverpool and explore the fascinating Wirral coastline.

Staggeringly good hotel! Forget all the chains, this independent, family-run place is lit. Spotlessly clean rooms, phenomenal staff, handy shops for emergencies or a short drive to takeaways and restaurants. A stonesthrow from the ferry terminal, a hop across the river for Liverpool, and a great place to explore the Wirral from. I wish all hotels did it like the Liver View, because this is how it's supposed to be done - and all for an extremely affordable rate. The car park is behind the hotel, securely tucked away. The breakfast is handmade to order and will keep you going all day. There's literally nothing to fault here and everything to love. I don't return to hotels, but I will 100% return to this one the next time I need to be in the area!
