    Staff were appalling. We were supposed to have a king size city view.When we got to our room we were looking out on a carpark. I went down to reception and said it to the guy who checked us in.I quickly realised there was no point in trying to argue with this man.He said to stay where we are as we had two beds( which we didn't want) and that the air con wasnt working on the city side rooms( on inspection, the aircon wasn't working in our room either). Our room was dirty and the toilet and shower were filthy. I didn't even bother reporting this as there was simply no point. He also said that 'next time' I need to tell them what kind of room I booked at check in. I imagine he could have read the booking from the screen when we were checking in. I barely got a word in with this man so we just left it as we wanted to explore the city and are not confrontational people. I couldn't recommend this hotel beyond it's location which is probably the only reason anyone would stay there. Maintenence and ancillary staff were friendly and polite.
