Great location! Just a few mins walk to the Cavern Club, as well as other clubs and pubs, so you can enjoy a night out without worrying about last trains or buses. Staff are all friendly, room is clean, and bed is super comfy. Great value for money! Would definitely come back to stay :)

The location is amazing. I am solo traveler and the night life down stairs was amazing. So if you are visiting the city for fun, it is the right place. There is a coffee place which is very nice

I was in bed 6. During the night someone grabbed my leg to get a coat they'd left there earlier. I didn't sleep the rest of the night. There were no staff to talk to in the morning either

Unfortunately it was not very clean and the noise from surrounding bars impacted our sleep greatly. We didn’t see a staff member throughout our stay.

Initial confusion with digital room key, thinking had to use phone to open door, due to the lock button on phone screen. Maybe small user guide would help.

Location superb bar and staff friendly.

Top bunks really hard and painful to get up and down from as ladders hard narrow metal with no hand grips and almost impossible not to step on person below.

Staff in the bar area were nice.

Too hot. Too cramped. Too noisy and needed to sleep with the window open. 10 bars blasting loud music below til 2am.

Breakfast was included, didnt have breakfast due to staff not giving us a form to fill out when we arrived. No one told us we had to let them know the night before, so when we went down for our breakfast we were told by a woman, we couldn't have anything coz there was nothing there for us and to go down the road to the weatherspoons. No wifi - didnt work. No tv - no wifi - didnt work. Pizza we ordered in the evening was absolutely disgusting lol I was asked to look at the pizza in the box when I was given it, it looked alright until I ate it - underneath was burnt to a crisp, no cheese.

The location was perfect for us - just yards away from the Cavern Club. The room was a decent size for us. The online check in/out process along with the digital key system was easy to navigate. Nice to have the fan in the room as its been so hot lately.

No staff to speak to so as such we missed out on the breakfast I'd paid for as we hadn't been told when it was or where it would be. Would've been nice to speak to an actual person. We did manage to get a cup of tea at least - but we had to go ask at the bar as milk hadn't been replenished. The girl we spoke to was helpful. The room was really hot though - even with the tower fan that was provided.

It is surrounding about live Bands and clubs . Couldn’t sleep at all . And no fans in the room . It’s warm . Could not close windows. Also could not sleep either.

I like the location because it was situated in the center of the city centre and surrounded by various essentials and luxurious places. I was thrilled by contactless check-in.

I have love air-conditioning system to have be made available during summer because of the windowless of the room, although a staff provided us with a stand fan, but was not sufficient to make us comfortable.

Silverfish in room. Bathroom was damp smelling and somewhat depraved. Room was hard to access with online key as it frequently didn't work and we needed to rely on the door code. AI art was used on the website. Location was close to bars and clubs so was noisy up to midnight mid week. Room was also very warm as windows didn't open very far and there was no air conditioning.

Checking in was confusing, no staff to greet you and once we’d learned how to check in, it said the room wasn’t ready, this was at 6pm, so had to go to the bar next door where some of the staff were quite rude, stood at the bar and wasn’t even acknowledged, eventually had to stop one of the staff to sort out our check in, the property is right on the corner of mathew Street, so you can hear loud music up until early hours of the morning, although ear plugs are provided, there is no mention of this when booking

Staff were great (kira) especially ,bed was very comfortable and check in and out were easy

Rooms weren't dirty but could have been cleaner and could do with a tv

It got pretty warm at night, so we had to use a portable fan and leave the window open which made it quite loud due the live music.

We really like the city of Liverpool. However, the place where we slept - not so much. If someone likes partying and very, very loud music coming literally outside the windows, then maybe they will like it. We had the impression that we had to fall asleep as if we were at a concert. Despite the closed double windows and earplugs, it was impossible. The location itself is great, because everything is close, to pubs, to attractions, to shops - and all this is in a walking distance. The room was not completely cleaned or vacuumed, someone's hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the shower, no rug in the shower, no glasses in the room to drink water, nothing. The facility itself, instead of communicating via booking, wrote on whatsapp - the first time such a situation has happened to me. They sent an external link to check-in where our sensitive data was required. Our arrival was in the morning and luckily they let us leave our backpacks, saying that the room would be cleaned and available at 3pm, or most likely earlier, and that we should keep checking, which we did 3 times! And finally it turned out that even after 3pm the room was still not available and we had to wait another hour. While we were waiting for the room, the men who came to check-in were given free drinks by the staff! Nobody even offered us that because we are women? It was very unpleasant. If you are a party person and you don't care about cleanliness, then maybe this place will suit you.

The location was amazing. We put the car in a carpark and forgot it for three days. So close to Liverpool 1, Albert dock, right on Mathew street. Saturday night was pumping if noise is a problem wear ear plugs. The room was great, it lacked a few extras but it’s a hostel so to be expected. We are two ( original sixties teens ) and we were fine.

A couple of extras but not complaining, a bath mat, a fridge, glasses ( which we got from the bar.

The room was comfortable. I was worried that it’d be too noisy but once the window was shut you could barely hear the music outside. Central location. Easy to get to places. Food from bar was nice

We believed that the hotel was still affiliated with NCP Moorfields car park as it said this in the FAQs so parked there believing we could get discount. When we got there they said they were no longer affiliated and ended up paying extortionate parking prices as we’re not local and don’t the area well and know where cheaper car parks were. Could have done with hand towels in the bathroom

Breakfast was left on the heater too long, it was dried out and hard , not very warm, let alone hot.

A kettle in the room, more room ie couldn't walk around the bed. Shower and Toilet smelled of stagnant water and there was Silver Fish crawling on the floor tiles in Toilet and shower tray, not very nice this day and age.
