The location is amazing, next to the m and s arena and exhibition centre if you’re coming for an event, and right next to the dock, my dock view room was lovely. And you can also see the dock from the bar and the river from parts of the dining room.

Brilliant hotel, lovely stay!

This hotel is absolutely lovely! There’s small things that make it such a great place to stay. Firstly, the heaters were already on when we came to the room, so it was nice and warm. There was an abundant supply of towels. They use dove soap/shampoo as opposed to an unknown melted plastic substance like other hotels. The room we booked was very spacious and the sofa bed had already been set up! The nicest thing about the property is the staff! They arranged milk for my daughter late at night, they offered vegetarian option for breakfast and bought us up and extension lead when we needed it. They were all happy to help.

The lighting in the room was limited, so when it got dark the room was quite dim. The plug sockets are on the opposite side of the room to where the beds are, but the hotel has extension leads to combat this.

Superb location in Albert Dock Easy walk to the Hill Dickinson stadium - 2 miles of flat, mostly traffic-free walking

The bar was a bit soulless but basically ok. There was a notice saying that the bed was soft at the front and firm at the back. Couldn't tell the difference - but it was fine

Excellent location right in the Albert Dock Very convenient side-door access directly onto the dock Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice Shower was excellent Room size was good Staff were friendly and helpful Issues (cot request and noisy neighbours) were dealt with promptly when reported

Room felt very dark during the day due to limited natural light Room was still very dark at night, even with all the lights on Limited dock view Hotel and room decor felt tired One bed was very uncomfortable Parking was inconvenient, especially when travelling with a baby No staff presence on the ground floor on arrival

Comfy bed. Good shower. Quiet room.

Couldn't check-in on time and even then my room hadn't been fully cleaned. No plug socket by bed. Dim lighting made working difficult. Chaotic breakfast that was not hot.

Very nice stay at The Holiday Inn, the staff are absolutely lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Our room was extremely spacious and overlooked the Albert Dock, which was great as we also had a nice view of The Liver Building. Great location, central to everything. Great breakfast in the morning. A good choice of hot & cold plus a choice of milk too.

The only thing was the bed was small. I am being picky as am used to a Super King at home but the room was large enough for a King Size bed instead of a Double bed.

Fab location

Lovely hotel and perfect location for staying in Liverpool. Had a lovely view of Albert Docks and pretty on night as River of light weekend! For parking we parked at Hilton which is about a ten minutes walk and only cost £38.00 for two nights which was cheaper than on outside and there were plenty of spaces!

Nothing really had a leaking tap in bathroom but reported to receptionist.
