Fantastic location, friendly staff and great food

Perfect location for visiting M&S Arena and close to city centre. Room was clean with good facilities, had a small problem with heating that was sorted by friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely and good value for money

Pillows a little hard but that's personal preference.

The young guy on reception Kian,or Kia was helpful sorting the room problem sorry if i havent got the name correctly

First room given had curtain hanging off the rail and broken bathroom door handle, second room given had the toilet cistern continuously filling .finally on tbe third attempt room was ok but tired looking. Not acceptable at £194 per night. Poor housekeeping , these problems should have been reported and rrepaired before the customer arrives. . Disappointed at this stay. Usually my go to hotel for concerts

Cheap but basic stay close to city centre

Nice location close to Liverpool One. Staff pleasant. Decent price for 3 nights. Good shower and comfortable beds.

The carpet was stained and dirty, and there was dust falling off the ceiling. Food under the dressing table from the previous guest was left there for the 3 nights we stayed. Rooms could definitely do with a good clean and a refresh. The shop in reception for essentials was closed our whole stay. Long queues at the bar.

Impressive architecture, comfortable hotel in stunning location

Leonardo hotels can be relied on for comfortable rooms and good choice of quality food at breakfast. Their wheelchair accessible rooms are truly accessible. The Liverpool hotel has amazing architecture and views and is in easy walking distance of the Albert Dock, Pier Head and Liverpool 1 shopping centre. There is lots to do in close proximity to this hotel from exploring museums and art galleries to crossing the Mersey by ferry. There is an open cafe / bar area which is nice to sit in or chat if the weather isn’t good so it’s a good place to stay with family or friends.

Friendly and comfortable

Hotel was perfect for our needs. It is in a great location for exploring with the city centre within easy walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was warm, the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was great with lots of options.

Only minor things. The carpet in the room had a few stains. The bar closing at 11.30 on Friday and Saturday night was a little disappointing. However, there was an option to buy alcohol from the reception shop but it was expensive.

The room was meant to be an upgrade to an executive room but was right next to the generator room which produced a loud buzzing and vibrations.

Not too bad

We got upgraded to an exec room because of a previous bad experience. The room had to then be changed to another one as the headboard was all scraped and old looking and there was a burn mark on the bedding, room 639. Also hardly slept as the pillows were very hard, soft pillows needed.

Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Room very clean and spacious. Great view of the wheel. Great Location, goid value for money, near to car park and docks. Always choose this hotel when staying in Liverpool. Lots of choices at breakfast. Will definitely be returning next year.

Fabulous location!!!

Great location for attending a concert at the M&S bank arena literally couldn’t get closer! Also nice and close to the docks to have a wander round and Liverpool one! Family room was great 2 really big beds everything we needed and spotless

Good value stay in the perfect location for us.

Clean, good location, extra bed for our son was a proper bed rather than sofa bed. Good size room

Bathroom quite dated and breakfast was a bit of a shambles despite staff running around and doing their best, almost everything needed replenishing. Jams, nutella, pastries, plates, spoons had all run out and I had to ask staff to replenish which they did quickly.

Comfortable stay with friendly staff.

Staff on reception were very friendly and professional, quick check in and clear directions up to our room. Room was clean and tidy with an option of a "posh" coffee! Bathroom was clean and towels available. Bed was very comfortable and once we had established which light switches were for which lights we were off to sleep! Restaurant was nice, although we had a grumpy floor person (mornings are not for everyone!) show us to our table. We had to find our own way around as it wasn't clearly sign posted where all the different options were. Housekeeping were very friendly when we returned to our room to pack up.

As we were there for a convention, there was no option for baggage storage like other hotels in the area. This was a little disappointing but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was ok, not much option for takeaway and I was told that they weren't allowed to give out takeaway boxes

Dancing girls ruined our stay and dirty bathroom floor.

There was a very large party of young dancers in the hotel, the whole lobby, bar and restaurant was full of them running around screaming anf dancing. My 2 autistic daughters were very uncomfortable. We hoped to find peace in our room on the 5th floor, but the noise continued upstairs and throughout the night with banging and shouting in the room next door. There was brown dirt on the bathroom floor. I have pictures... This was meant to be a special treat and I paid alot £265 for my daughters birthday. They were anxious and uncomfortable throughout and we came home exhausted.

Great location and comfortable stay

Beds and bedding were very comfortable and it was great to have an extra 3rd bed and not a sofa bed. Good powerful shower. Amazing view of the river and wheel. Nice thick towels enough for all of us. Breakfast was excellent with good cooked and continental choices, friendly efficient breakfast staff. Would stay again.

They wouldn’t allow me to change the date to 1 day even out of good will as booking.com changed my dates in error. I know it was a non refundable booking but it didn’t say non amendable on booking.com. I also requested in advance not 4th floor and that’s what they gave us. The receptionist did change it for us. Decor was a bit tired. There is a door adjoining to the room next door. It was locked, however it meant the wall wasn’t as sound proofed, you could hear their conversations.

Great location - would recommend

Fantastic location and secure parking so close was a real bonus. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful as were those in the bar, which was a great and comfortable place for a drink after a busy day of sightseeing. We would recommend and stay again ourselves.

Room was clean and comfortable but could do with a bit of updating. An in room safe would also be a great addition. That said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
