Holyrood Hotel - Leisure Centre & The Spa at Orchids

Lovely large very clean room. On Main Street so easy to walk everywhere

The staff were very friendly and helpful ,John.d (I hope i got this right) in the resteraunt was fab ,interacted with us and the children ,great personality ,great at his job.Breakfast was lovely and the staff were great ,even got to meet the mascot ,pool was a lovely but a little cold

Kids dessert was the same price as an adults and with a big family and a family hotel I think they should of had a kids dessert menu ,other then that its a fab hotel for families

It was very central had a nice swimming pool and bar area. Great dessert menu

A little bit run down wallpaper peeling on the walls our room was very close to the elevator so a lot of noise I did not like that there were signs everywhere telling the children not to run and jump and my children were actually stopped by a member of staff and spoken to abruptly in my opinion even when I explained that they were just walking up the stairs to the room. This staff member then said to me they weren’t allowed to run. I found it ironic that there is no issue at all when drunk guests were shouting up and down the corridor in front of our room.
