Ok but could have been better if we were warm.

The location was great.

The timed heating in our room did not work. We requested assistance and staff came to our room to fix the problem. However the heating turned off again during the night and our room was freezing.

Fabulous Place to Stay near to Donegal Town

Perfect location with on-site parking. I was delighted to be offered early check-in. The room was very clean and had a workspace for me to work on my laptop. Walking distance into Donegal town. Highly recommend and would like to stay again, the next time I am working in that area, or on holiday.

Wonderful stay at Gateway Lodge.

Friendly informative staff. Very clean and well presented. A very short walk down into Donegal Town. Breakfast was lovely. Pleased with price.

We were in a ground floor courtyard room. Residents above were extremely noisy but that's not the hotels fault.

Cosy and comfortable- ideal for town

The room was clean and cosy

You can’t open the windows to let air in as it is the walkway for other residents so you need to close the blinds. Also the bathroom tap runs really slowly. Tea cups are small - mugs would be better .

The bad sewage smell in the bedroom - cold no heat - electrical probs in one part of the hotel! The rude,aggressive manager and his attitude towards my child’s medical condition!

Lovely staff, good size room, comfortable bed. Perfect location to town which has bars and restaurants. Didn’t have breakfast but cafe attached to hotel opens for this if you wish and open during the day only.

The bathroom’s are quite small and if you’re a large person you would struggle in the shower. I like a twin room but find the single beds too small a small double bed would w much better

A lovely place to visit for a couple of days.

The location was within walking distance of Donegal Town. The room was clean and a good size. The breakfast menu gave a good variety of options.

The breakfasts were excellent but we felt that the portion sizes were too big. The bathroom could have been improved with the addition of a shelf for toiletries, rather than having to leave things on the floor.

Wonderful hotel close to town, great breakfast.

Breakfast restaurant was bright and airy, and the food was excellent. Just don't arrive before 8am as they won't let you in early. It was not far back to town, so everything was in walking distance.
