Really enjoyed my stay at Dromore House. It’s in a quiet location but still close to a few lovely beaches, making it a great base for exploring the area. There’s car parking available, which is handy, although there isn’t anywhere secure to park bicycles. Overall, a lovely place to stay and would happily recommend it.
It would have been handy to have some basic breakfast items like milk and bread available. There was also nowhere secure to store our bikes, which would be useful for cyclists. Some of the recommendations could do with being updated too.

A good area for parking the car. We were in room no2, a modest sized double room which was fine for us as we were only staying a couple of nights. There was an en-suite bathroom with loo and shower. Everything was very clean. We had access to fully equipped kitchen and washing facilities all very clean and orderly. There were shelves allotted to each room no in the cupboard and fridge to keep your food. It was nice to be able to interact with the other guests.
The only thing missing was a towel rail in the bathroom. Unfortunately there were some noisy guests who didn’t observe the notice requesting no noise after 10.00pm, but this clearly no fault of the proprietor.

The house is located close to the center of Donegal.
The kitchen was well-equipped and the welcome kit was really appreciated.
Jacuzzi was relaxing but it is not in the same room of your bedroom so you have to cross the shared hallway to reach it, which is not very convenient.
It is a big house, we were the only couple inside and the wideness and the silnce of the rooms make us felt a little uncomfortable.
The overall cleanliness was poor: The bed was dirty and we had to make it up with clean bedsheet that we found in the closet. The floor was dirty also.
