The room was warm and clean.
Signage isn't easy to spot at front of property. 'Self service' check-in could be clearer (took us a while to work out which external door to use - we also had to assist a couple who arrived later as they were baffled as to which entrance to use - again better signage would help).
The shower could do with updating. Nicer bedding (and duvets rather than blankets) and nicer lamps etc would give a less basic look.

Nice quiet location just a little outside of Donegal proper, yet only a 5 min drive into town. Liked having access to the common kitchen and lounge, and the honesty shop in the kitchen was very convenient (along with the free tea and coffee), seeing as breakfast wasn't included.
The check-in instructions were a little unclear and it took us a little while to figure out exactly where to go and where our room was. We also had a lot of trouble with the lock on our door (#105). Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Plenty of hot water for the shower, but the pressure was somewhat low.

Everything we required was available. private room and bathroom with a shared kitchen and lounge.
Comfortable bed. Quiet.
Just one little niggle- The hair dryer was very low powered - not really fit for purpose

Room with style (old fashioned very well preserved) with bathtub and without a duvet (traditional bedsheets) and house and room very clean.
20 minutes or more from town centre (nothing to do or buy nearby, you have to go to town) and uphill (the shortest way was only disclosed in the house with difficult instructions, you should send a map with the itinerary before arriving). Very strong heating that can't be regulated (or swiched on/off) by guests, you need to reach out to hosts. Difficult instructions to get in the house.
