Great location

Excellent location! Car park directly opposite the hotel. Easy check in and we was also allowed to check in early for an additional charge. Clean and tidy rooms with very comfy beds!! We would definitely recommend and definitely stay again in the future.

No fault of the hotel but our room was up on the 5th floor. Being someone that is petrified of lifts this was a little frustrating but it did not effect our stay at all.

Lovely welcome, very pleasant helpful staff. Large spacious room and bathroom with a wonderful view of the city from the landing as well as the room. Sumptuous breakfast. Bar open for drinks and snacks all hours, and, again, very accommodating staff. Ideally placed for transport.

We would have liked two chairs in the room instead of just one.

Usual Haunt!

It's my usual haunt when in Nottingham. Rooms are a great size, big comfy bed, decent sized bathroom with a good shower. Location is excellent, nearby to everything. Staff are always nice.

Absolutely lovely staff. Kind, caring and really helpful. Lovely and clean. Nice decor and a massive choice with the buffet breakfast.

Rubbish but notts great

Close to where we needed to go

Booked a family room & given a double room. We had to sleep with our child in the most uncomfortable double bed. I have sent a message of complaint but ignored

A great central location with easy access to the Motorpoint Arena, local bars and restaurants.

The location was perfect as very central, we needed to be near the Motorpoint Arena for a speed skating competition, the walk between the hotel and ice rink was only 5mins. We were also located near bars and restaurants and the 24hr Tesco which was very convenient. As you walked into the hotel reception area, it was kept lovely and warm. The reception staff were very friendly and cheery, nothing was too much trouble and check-in was very quick and smooth. The hotel bar had a pizza oven (24hr service) which was so convenient when travelling with children. Our room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable.

It would have been helpful to have been provided a mini fridge in the bedroom. The purpose of our stay was to attend a sports competition where we were taking our own food and drinks so it would have been nice to have been able to keep these cool and fresh during our stay. Car parking was an issue, it would have been good if we were offered a discount via the hotel using the local NCP car park or given information by the hotel of cheaper car parking sites we could have used during our stay.

The room was clean and the view was okay from the window The 12pm check out was great

One of the lifts wasn't working so it was a tight squeeze to get in the lift because the hotel was busy.. the breakfast buffet needs more choices of items.

Great stay - we'll be back

The car park opposite was very handy. The hotel itself was close for shops and bars.

After breakfast next morning we walked down the alleyway at the side of the hotel and found it was a shortcut to the shopping area. It would have been useful to have been told about that on checking in.

Great location, parking opposite at a reduced rate for 24 hours. Staff are super friendly.

Good location, OK stay

Hotel is in a good location, very close to tram and in city centre. Very quiet, with no external noise into property. Room was adequate for a one-night stay.

Nothing major, just lots of minor things. One lift not working, no hand towels in bathroom, no bin in room, plug sockets located in inconvenient locations (eg kettle was provided, but no plug socket next to where it was located), lots of internal noise in corridors, etc etc.

Perfect location

Great location for the Christmas Market and very close to coach station so perfect. Breakfast was lovely too and there is also a lovely little pub about 3 doors down :)

Great central location for shopping

Great location for shops. Topper on bed was very comfortable, we slept well. Room was quiet & we had a good view of the city. Late checkout time was good. Good discount on carpark opposite the hotel.

Steps to get in & out of the bathroom are a health & safety hazard. A sheet was fitted only on the topper, not the mattress, so new mattresses must be required. Have to say I expected more luxury for the price.

Generally ok, decent hotel. Clean and comfortable but disorganised.

Location was great with lace market carpark straight across road.

Breakfast was good food wise but poorly organized. No one to take our room number at the door, so had to go looking for someone as we had our dog with us and needed to know if we could go in with our dog or if there was a separate area for us, and they didn't know, so we were left hovering around the door. Went to find another member of staff, asked same question, they didn't know either. So we made our own choice and decided to sit in reception area at a table, and keep fetching our food in from the dining area rather than go in and then be told we couldn't take dogs in. Also, we were on the 5th floor, and one of the two lifts was out of order both days we were there, and there was an event on and the hotel was busy so having to cope with one lift and a large dog, meant we spent a lot of time waiting for lifts!
