Fair accommodation for the price.

Location. Cleanliness of bathroom and bedding.

Room 103 it was not possible to turn the radiator off or down. This made the room very hot through the night. Avocado on toast breakfast was not very exciting to look at. The full English presented better. Rooms are tired.

Room was decent. Little bits need tidying up. Mainly the bathroom, whilst clean, was a bit dated and scruffily finished (tiling mainly).

Great location and value for money rooms, but let down by service and deceitful charges.

Location and large room.

Property surreptitiously charged us for a late checkout after leaving the property and returning to Singapore. We had asked if we could have a late checkout to which the receptionist agreed (it was a 90min extension). There was no mention of any charge for this. When we checked out we were not informed of any late checkout charge. A week later after returning to Singapore we found a late checkout charge on our credit card. Deceitful.

Hotel is trying to look better than it actually is: 5 star when it is really 3-4.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location.

It all looks a little bit tired. Stylish design and artworks, but it all needs refreshing. Also our room had a portable air conditioning unit in it, with a massive pipe that clumsily fed into the secondary glazing on the window. Who needs air con in December? And in a hotel that is trying to be smart, it just looked like a rubbish solution to a problem we didn’t have. Also, why no radiator in the bathroom? How are the towels supposed to dry and the room stay warm?

The hotel seemed to be a bit tired decoration wise

We have stayed here before and went back because of the location to where we had booked a night out.

The room was a cosy double but very small and not very well planned out as it was an odd shape. On both occasions checking in and out there was no one on reception and we had to wait ages ringing the bell.

The staff were fabulous, friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, spacious and clean.

Breakfast was only served until 9.30am on Friday morning, which after a fabulous night out at a concert was a little early. The hotel bar closed to residents at 11pm, and bar staff informed if we hadn't finished drinks by 11.15pm we would have to take them and drink in our room. This is unusual for any hotel bar even more so when you are resident.

Tired, aircon didn’t work in room, strobing light in bathroom, cobwebs on ceiling, noisy location, hoovering next door at 5:30am, chipped paint, remote batteries were dead.

Awful and overpriced

I have stayed in cleaner, more modern and overall much nicer Travelodge hotels than this and for less money. The interior clearly hasn't been updated in over 20 years. The room was dirty, tea stains up the walls, furniture damaged and aging, bathroom tiles covered in mould, light fittings missing, horrific silicone sealant around the bath fittings that looks like it has been applied with a shovel. The room was tiny. There was a smell of mould as soon as we walked into the hotel corridors. I feel completely ripped off, I paid £185 for what was supposed to be a Deluxe Double and it was absolutely awful for that kind of money. The pictures do not reflect the absolute state of the rooms or the hotel. Never again.

TV was a little far away from the bed and partially obscured by the ac unit, but didn't bother me too much.

The room was clean. Comfortable bed and clean bedding, lovely bathroom. There was bottled water and a kettle in the room so I could make myself a hot drink with a wide variety of teas.

My room was next to the lift, a lot of noise when people were coming on or off the lift, especially if they were tipsy.

The room was a bit outdated and we could feel the gap in the bed where two had been pushed together. The shower was very bad for the price of this room, we nearly had to ask reception for support and once we got it working it had terrible pressure. Very disappointing shower.
