Perfect for a seaside getaway or stop over on the way to the ferry.

The location is ideal for resturants, museums, and the beach. I really liked the nautical theme of the room. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Street parking is free outside the hotel. Ferry port is only a short drive away too.

I'd have liked a few more hot foods to choose from at breakfast.

Not much. Placement is okay.. free parking. That all the positive things I have to say.

First of all - don’t stay here during summer. Had the worst sleep of my life, the heat was killing me. The bed was tiny and hard. The sheets/duvet had a weird smell. There was dirty spots on my otherwise clean towel. Do nok recommend, sorry.

Don’t write this one off. For the money we paid we might even consider staying again.

The room was very clean as were the towels and the bedding. We slept well. The shower was excellent (although the door didn’t quite shut). The room was a little tired but it was clear there had been a few recent improvements. It was a great location in most respects being near the beautiful harbour with bars and restaurants. There was free parking behind the building. It was a municipal car park but was free and felt fairly secure being a little tucked away from the Main Street. It was excellent value for money and the staff were fantastic! Everyone we met were friendly, helpful and polite.

With its 2 star plaque the outside was not very welcoming. Run down, a little neglected and in a backstreet to be honest it all looked a bit dodgy! We almost didn’t bother but we persevered and were pleased we did. The inside of the building definitely needs refurbishment but the rooms were slightly better kept. There were no spare pillows. Tea making facilities were available but only one herbal tea bag. Bring supplies.

Good hotel close to centre of Dunkirk with secure bike parking for large group.

The location was in a quiet corner of Dunkirk, about 10 -20 minutes walk of the city centre. The hotel were able to accommodate our bicycles in a locked meeting room overnight. They provided us with enough rooms of the right types for our party of eleven. Breakfast was fresh and efficient.

There was a little confusion on check-in. We had ordered five twin rooms and one double. We were given one double too many but was soon rectified. Decor is a little dated.

The outside was very scruffy looking. No kettle in the room to make a coffee. No glass to drink from. No USB ports for charging our phones. No hairdryer. Way over priced for what it was.wull definitely not be back, nor will we recommend it to any of our friends.
