Amazing location and just a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The house has lots of charm and character too. Our host was absolutely delightful and fun. She also offered great advice.

Although it is listed as having free parking, there is essentially no parking. It is street parking only and we had to drive around for about 10 minutes to find parking. The toilet and shower are 2 totally separate rooms and neither is connected to the bedroom. If fact, the toilet was down the hall and halfway down the stairs. This was not clear from the room description. Also, the toilet was not private. We shared the one toilet with other guests. You should also know that the house is full of children. We could hear them jumping and playing above us. But, the biggest problem was the host’s dog. He’s VERY sweet and well behaved. However, we came with our own dog. It would have been better to know ahead of time that not only did they have a dog, but that he would roam freely, even sniffing at our dog under the door. One day they left without him and he howled until they returned! This made it impossible to leave our dog in the room alone for dinner. Worst of all, their dog popped in the breakfast room, peed on the staircase, and vomited in front of our door. Yuk!
