Fantastic will definitely be back

the bed was the most comfortable one I have ever slept in. Room was comfortable size. Staff were fantastic helpful and chatty, Only 1 problem the security light kept going on and waking me up, but otherwise would definitely recommend.

Lovely historical hotel . Room clean and spacious . Tv , tea / coffee making facility in room , iron and ironing board in room . Staff friendly and attentive . Breakfast included too .

Pleasant but sad to see the building in disrepair

Staff were great, it's a pleasant place. Lovely to stay in Port Sunlight in such an architecturally interesting building.

Food wasn't amazing, was OK. The hotel room was very tired.... Needs TLC The whole building needs a lot of TLC. Feel like the cost of this might be prohibitive but wonder if funding might be available as is such an iconic and amazing building.

The room was spacious, bed comfy and it was in a quiet, convenient location. The staff were also very helpful.

Beakfast was OK, but disappointingly the coffee was instant rather than filter coffee. The room could do with a revamp as decoration was looking a bit tired.

Yhe lovation close to the ferry terminal was the best point. The staff and facilities were verygood. I really enjoyed the old fashioned nature of the hotel.

Location is key advantage as in Port Sunlight. Not much else to recommend.

Booked table for 17.45 for dinner and ordered on GK app. Food didn't appear for an hour. At breakfast no buffet style continental and cooked food again took almost an hour to appear. No explanation offered.

I’d have liked a grab rail in the bath, a shower that I could adjust down ( small person) and although a note about mat for bath could be got at reception I’d have liked it in the room as bath dangerously slippy!

Functional room with a bed for the night albeit a small double.

Room was clean but basic. Remote control was not working but batteries were changed promptly. Booked for dinner but food was average at best.

The location was exactly what we expected having stayed in a hotel a short distance away last year. The staff were all brilliant and nothing was too much trouble, We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Location and a friendly welcome.

The Location was perfect as family took us a tour of Port Sunlight. The Breakfast was lovely and we were offered refills of our drinks. The staff were great and looked after us well. We enjoyed our stay.

We couldn't open the windows which was a bit disappointing. But the room was clean and tidy.

Welcoming, good choice on menu, and well located.

It has period charm. Having the pub/restaurant within the same building made it perfect for us. Enjoyed having breakfast in the separate restaurant. Beds were very comfortable. Sean and the team were first class.

Whilst the staff work hard to ensure that rooms are clean, the room could benefit from a refurbishment. It is looking very tired and scruffy in places - carpet and paintwork in particular.

Decor, furniture and facilities were dated, worn, in dire need of refurbishment, repair and updating. Had we seen the room prior to booking we would have gone elsewhere.
