Broadly acceptable but for the price only average.
Lovely Reception & Housekeeping team doing a great job despite being compromised by the shabby, tired premises. My room was OK but the furnishing were from 1990; archaic and worn. Does nobody clean under the toilet rim anymore?
No biscuits or coffee machine (as per ***)
Ideally the place needs a refurbishment but in the current climate that’s probably not going to happen.
In summary it’s a reasonable offer and if you can accept a few shortcomings it’s fine for a short stay, perhaps business meeting. For an indulgent experience ( +1) with a slice of opulence manage your expectations a little.
