Comfortable and cheap night.

Room was clean and beautifully decorated.

No bar or any other services available at the hotel. Very strange as this by definition is not a hotel then- just a room to rent.

It was a small cosy room.

The toilet roll was stained a brown colour, the shower was cracked on the floor so it felt like the shower floor would give in any second and the shower also leaked a lot out of the glass door.

Smelt fusty, the tv needed to be at the end of the bed not the side, needed something to make it less standout that it had no windows and was just a basement room/box room.

Small room, but a nice stay!

Very close to the city centre. Around 3-4 minute walk to Liverpool ONE & bus station. Lovely talk with the people at the reception! Will come again!

In the early morning, there were some loud noises. Not sure what it was, if it was outside or people getting ready to leave.

The room had everything I needed, it was very clean. The lady at reception was really lovely.

Only the fact that there wasn't a window but I booked the room knowing this so I didn't mind.

Basic but did the job.

Good location for access to bars and clubs and it had the essential items/facilities required for one overnight stay. Bedding was clean and the room was tidy and quite clean.

The room was tired and worn (woodwork, paintwork and vinyl on the bed was peeling off). The seal on the shower door was broken and the sink leaked from behind onto the floor. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work so the room filled with steam when showering. The bedsheet didn’t fit so it kept riding off the mattress throughout the night, the air conditioning/heater unit didn’t work so a small heater was left for us (not ideal as it was either freezing in the room if you didn’t use it or too hot to keep on throughout the night). Finally some of the bulbs in the bathroom and bedroom didn’t work which wasn’t great when trying to apply my makeup.

Excellent location. Rooms clean and decent facilities and larger than other pod rooms I've stayed in. Friendly staff, we had an issue where the toilet would not flush and the receptionist was great, really helpful amd quickly changed room with no fuss.

Fire alarm went off twice 7 am and an hour later. You can hear noise in corridors etc.

An honest review.

The room was very cold but we were provided a portable heater and a radiator which we could plug in. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot.

There was a noise which I could only describe as an aeroplane engine powering up and about to take off. This went on periodically all night and kept waking me up every 15 minutes. When I advised of this to reception upon checkout they said it's not something they have heard before. I don't think this is the truth as the whole floor in the room was vibrating. I think it could have been the ventilation system or something as the rooms are below ground level.

Cheap and great location, but our room was a bit smelly

Great location and very friendly staff. The room itself was more than adequate including a bed and a bathroom in one small but self-contained unit. Most ideal for what we wanted.

The room smelled of cheesy feet. I thought we would acclimate which we did, but honestly it was just not pleasant. Now I think about it, I should have asked for a different room. 😅

It’s a great location , it’s very basic but sometimes that’s all you need especially if you are out all day .

I thought it was abit pricey considering there is no windows ( whether you say it at the start or not ) and the rooms are very cold . Pillows seeemd very used and worn, had to ask for new ones .

Perfect budget hotel. Get what you pay for!

Location was fantastic and all staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Quietly tucked way gem.

When you book a pod, you expect it to be small. We did not expect the spacious, modern bathroom which made the stay very

It ticked my most important boxes: clean, comfortable, central, and safe. It was very clean, except for a few hairs stuck to the base of the shower on the outside. The bathroom was large and modern. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well, and the aircon worked well enough so the room did not get stuffy.

We struggled to get the aircon going at first and had to get help. It also kept switching to a lower mode. It was adequate, but we would have preferred it to stay on high when we wanted it to, without having to get help.

Worst experience staying in hotel at Liverpool

The hotel provides refreshments and basic amenities

No lift. The way to the hotel was secluded and not brightly lit at night and do not feel safe for tourists... The kettle was not emptied and cleaned since there was water half full when we wanted to use the kettle There was a leak from the drainage inside the room which is not acceptable... The management should provide some compensation, not just said sorry since the rate is expensive...

Pretty disappointed overall

Staff were helpful and pleasant. The location was excellent for city and car park. Received a free upgrade to a larger room. good wifi, no password required, just connect.

1st room I was given was the smallest I have ever been in. Most of the TV channels didn't work. I wasn't expecting that when paying £150 per night. Larger room only had 2 sockets. The kettle was on a worktop but it had to be placed on the floor to reach the sockets. Although I was given a larger room, there was no seating. There was a noticeable continuous electricity hum that was heard when the lights went out. It took 2 days to work out that if I removed the key-card from its slot the hum stopped. So, I managed to get 1 good night's sleep out of the 3. Having to re-register your room key-card every 24hrs

Expensive for what it is, wouldn't stay here again

It had a good location, close to the docks and near a shopping centre. There is a Tesco nearby and the city centre is close.

There is a level of unbothered from the staff that is quite amazing. We had no shower gel in our shower, we informed the man at reception who said he would give us some. And then didn't. When we reminded him, he simply filled up our cheap bottle. There was no concern to do a good job by anyone that worked there, the barest minimum was enough. On our last night the cleaners somehow made the air con drip and left a towel on the floor, and didn't inform us. It dripped all night.

It was in a good location.

While the location was ideal, several serious issues made the stay extremely concerning, and one in particular posed a severe safety hazard. Unsafe electrical appliance: On the morning of our departure, my husband used the in-room hairdryer. Within 10 seconds, it emitted a very loud bang, began smoking, and its heating element shattered and glowed red hot. The device was dangerously hot to touch and posed an obvious fire and safety risk. There was no Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) label visible. This was a deeply shocking and hazardous experience. Poor handling by staff: I reported this at checkout. The receptionist simply removed and binned the hairdryer with a brief apology, but there was no indication that the matter would be escalated or properly logged. This gave me no reassurance that the safety of future guests would be protected. Additional concerns: The room was located two floors underground and smelled strongly of damp. The air conditioner did not work at all, and the remote was missing. While these were inconvenient, the electrical safety incident is unacceptable. This was an extremely dangerous situation that could easily have caused fire, burns, or worse.

Just okay

The day-time female receptionist was wonderful and sort to find answers to my discomfort.

The internet of my phone did not work in my room and when asked the night receptionist, he said he could not guarantee connectivity. There was no option offered and so I asked for a refund for the subsequent days paid for. Also under the bed was dirty but I was a bit unbothered.
