Staff are friendly and helpful
Great breakfast and good Evening meals.
Comfortable bed and our small dog is always welcome
Dog biscuits and water in restaurant.
White voil on window was filthy and stained. The window sill was covered in dust and dirt as was the wood on the glass panes. Dead flies stuck to plaque on window sill. Extractor fan in bathroom not working making it very hot in there.

Location
Need to put better toilet seat as the replaced one is much smaller and it looks strange and not comfortable. Minor details but a reflection of class of maintenance!

Location, some great staff and the main common area was lovely
The room was warm even when cool outside, the bathroom had some mold on tiles but a lot on expeller

My chalet room outside the main building was clean and comfortable, very quiet with a nice rural view. The bar / restaurant was very busy at 6pm on a Friday so I guess it is a popular place. However there was still free seating available both inside and out - there is a pleasant garden area. The receptionist was quick and efficient. Access to Newcastle town centre by car is very easy, just 10 minutes or so, and there was available free parking despite hosting an event that night.
Breakfast service was a bit average. There were no coffee cups, crockery or cereal bowls available at the buffet when I arrived and after a 5 minute wait I had to go and find someone in the kitchen to provide. Another table was also waiting. The poached eggs in Eggs Benedict looked fried to me and were not runny.
