Perfect short stay Hotel

lovely comfy bed, cute attic room with a Velox window for fresh air

only allocated 1 coffee sachet each per day, ie only supplied enough for one drink each, why not just leave a good amount of coffee sachets, sugar and put some milk sachets in the empty fridge

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Bruges.

The hotel was very welcoming and a beautiful place. The team at reception and breakfast were fabulous. The location is good to get to and from the old town. I will definately come back again.

No real complaints

The parking is overpriced for what you get. Parking for one night is 25 euro's but my car was to big for the parking so i couldn't park there and parked in the underground parking garage at a 5 minute walk and only paid 13 euro's.

Nice place quite noise in rooms at night from near rooms

Stairs are very steep. There was a problem with my booking as it seemed a single room was also booked. But reception helpful but still had to pay for 3 rooms instead of 2. Costing cot was wavered help.

In a nutshell: The price of the room with spa access isn't worth it, the hotel isn't the nicest we've stayed in, the facilities are minimal and the customer service is terrible. We've paid less elsewhere and had much better experiences. We do not recommend this hotel. We booked this hotel as a treat, because of its advertised spa facilities etc. unfortunately the air conditioning in our room wasn't working right and when we reported it to reception they checked it out and insisted it was working because they could feel it when they put their hand directly in front of the unit. Which we could too. But the room was still ridiculously hot because it wasn't circulating the air actually into and around the room. The built up condensation was also dripping on to the floor next to the bed and in the doorway. The receptionist insisted it was working fine and there was nothing they could do. No other rooms. No one to fix it. They had apparently called a plumber even though they didn't believe It wasn't working and when we asked for a fan they said they would see if they could find one, but we never heard about It again. We were made to feel as though we just didn't know how Aircon worked and that we were complaining about nothing. The Aircon wasn't the issue at this point. It was the staff members lack of customer service. We barely slept because we were so hot. I then spoke with the next person on the desk in the morning who also continued to insist that it was working fine, I was so frustrated at this point. I had to ask to be moved rooms again which they accommodated this time and the next room was fine with working Aircon. The spa facilities were fine, but limited. It is just a sauna room and steam room with showers. No treatment rooms, no pool or hot tub etc. there is seating too but it's just in the hot room downstairs with the other facilities. Nowhere to change, no toilet etc.

Old Brugge Charm

Hotel was close bus stops and easy walk to shops and histric Brugge. Staff were helpful and friendly. We were able to leave luggage in baggage room after check out. Room was renovated although had lovely old charm. Large heated towel rail was a bonus as well as block out blind/screen to make room dark whilst sleeping.

Overall stay was great, but I did notice the tea/coffee facilities could have been cleaner.

Very Inconvenient.

Close to the center. Good location.

The carpet at front smell like dead animals. They only have ONE key per room since they don’t have electric key card like you get at every other hotel, very inconvenient. Also they TAKE PICTURES of your CREDIT CARD “just in case you smoke in the room” very invasive. At the moment of booking the room it showed a 1 floor bedroom but when we got to our room there was stairs, it wasn’t a problem to go up stairs but that wasn’t what they promised, they lied in their booking and when we tried changing room suddenly there weren’t any rooms available.

Very nice hotel with comfy beds and super helpful staff.

Very comfortable rooms and very clean, it really exceeded our expectations. The hotel is well located only a few meters from the city center. The staff was helpful, explained everything to us and gave us some excellent tips around the city.

25 Eur per day Parking is quite expensive. I would expect to be able to charge our car without extra cost for the price of parking. That would be the only thing I would say kind of negative, overall was a nice experience.

Great for a short stay.

Good location,although it is on a busy road and near the fun fair we couldn't hear any noise. Breakfast was fab,so much choice even sparkling wine for a bucks fizz.It was all self service so you could eat as much or as little as you wanted.We had breakfast at 8am and had the place to ourselves.

A genuine 1800’s building with UNESCO heritage transformed into a luxury hotel worth experiencing.

The Golden Tree Hotel is a luxurious 3 star hotel. Our room had its own external courtyard, was quiet and well equipped including tea making facilities, a safe, super king size bed and a spacious bathroom. The hotel also had a nooks and crannies, areas to sit read and relax. The staff were friendly and extremely attentive and helpful.

The buffet breakfast was just ok for €15

Our room was ready before checking time the room modern, comfortable and stylish, loved the shower and facilities Breakfast amazing super complete, staff very helpful giving us maps and advise about booking tours, location superb practically in the old centre close to restaurant and shops and walking distance of everything

Great stay

We had a duplex room with a mezzanine bedroom on the top floor. Great layout if you have a family. Room was light and modern with a super comfy bed. Good breakfast options and catered for gluten free if told in advance. Parking is expensive but invaluable and in line with parking elsewhere.

No shower screen on the bath so showering standing up was a pain. Bathroom was really nice though
