The best stay, would come back.

Everything was amazing. Welcoming and kind staff. Very clean rooms with amenities such as tea and coffee and toiletries. Lovely and substantial breakfast. Excellent heating. Close to supermarkets, shops, cafes, pubs restaurants, Bruges City Centre. Across the road from the bus station and a easy stroll to the train station. Comfortable beds and pillows. Bath, heaps of hot water. Quiet location and inside the hotel.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The location was a short walk to all the areas of the city we wanted to visit. The staff were very attentive and helpful during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were tidied during the day and complimentary tea & coffee was topped up. The token gifts we were given during our last breakfast very thoughtful.

Fantastic stay

The staff was wonderful. We want to recognize the lady at the breakfast and the mister at the reception. The loctaion near the train station for travelers that have large size luggage and that are staying for just a few days is great.

For travelers with several luggages going up the stairs can be a challenge.

Perfect stay at Brugges

Breakfast was amazing. The amount and variety of food was perfect. And the lady serving tables was incredibly warm, careful and helpful. The room is extremely clean, including the bathroom. The hotel is near the station and the center, and in a super quiet environment. We recommend this hotel with no doubt to everyone that is looking for a really comfortable stay in Brugge.

Great hotel, would stay there again if visiting Brugge!

The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Brugge Station, and a 5-minute walk to the town. The room and bath/shower room were great, the breakfast was very good and the lady serving it was really friendly.

Only that the toilet seat was a little loose. (Also, I wish it were a little less expensive to stay (but everyone has the same wish, right?))

Staff was helpful and pleasant, wonderful breakfast and reasonably priced with a fairly good location!

Parking and getting there. We thought the hotel had parking but it does not. You have to park in Z’stand and it is 14 euro per day and complicated if you’re not aware in advance of parking underground and exiting in a building across the street from the hotel. As well, if your room is on the side of the buses you may hear them at 0500.?

Our two nights at the Albert I were comfortable and will be remembered fondly.

Location is excellent. One bus stop from train station and two bus routes that run through old Brugge. The buses stop directly at hotel front. Accommodations suited us perfectly. The charming breakfast room is cheery and immaculately clean and tidy. Breakfast was served by a lovely lady who supplied us with an ample supply of breads, croissants, fruit, cereals, eggs, jams and coffee.

Hotel Albert 1 is only one stop from the Bruges Railway Station by bus. It is right across the bus stop coming from the Bruges Railway Station. You only have to cross the street going to the center of it all. We never have to ride a taxi or Uber as the buses are all there and everywhere is walkable.We were at the 2nd floor and there is no elevator, but Christoff helped us bring our luggage upstairs. The included breakfast is sumptuous, delicious and filling, thanks to Mimi.

Excellent place to stay, highly recommend!

Great location on the edge of the hoopla. Extremely clean, extremely comfortable and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful! Would stay there again and again!

We were on the top floor and it was unseasonably warm outside and the room was a little warm, the air worked great in the main bedroom but the 2nd bedroom didn’t cool off. They did bring us a fan though, which helped.

Perfect for those who like a quaint traditional Bruges hotel, close to everything & great breakfast

All of it. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Location was excellent to get to all the sites, cafes, restaurants etc. Bus to and from the Bruges station stopped outside hotel door. I had been travelling for over a month in multiple locations, it was the most comfy bed I encountered. It had the charm of a small old quaint hotel but with modern facilities. The breakfast was exactly what I like. They gave you mueslis or granola, fruit salad, yoghurt, a bagful of breads / rolls, a bag full of croissants both plain and sweet, jams honey etc. eggs if you wanted it, a plate of cheeses and sliced meats, orange juice and tea or coffee. I love these types of breakfasts, rather than the big buffet, less waste and everything fresh.

Only drawback being an old hotel it had very tight, steep staircases and being in my late 60’s I find them scary but just took them very slowly and carefully and all was fine.

Super nice accommodation and services

Very nice hotel and services. Walking distance to city center, loved the firm mattresses, super nice staff, good breakfast. Appreciated the surprise on Easter day at breakfast - we all received chocolate boxes.

Our room was in the attick, no issue with that, however very steep and narrow way to and out of the room. For older people not so comfy.

Cozy, welcoming and a 6 minute walk to the train station and it's so quiet.

Everything was cozy and seen to. Great bed, big bathroom with a tub! The breakfast was over the top! Took the rest that I couldn't finish and ate throughout my walking around Brugge. This is family run and they're just the nicest, most helpful folks.

Not that I didn't like it, but there was no elevator so 'us of a certain age', stay on lower floors.

Family hotel perfect for exploring

Breakfast was pleasent with a twist that it is bought to your table with fresh bread.

Sharing a bathroom between two rooms could be a little bothersome, but still not too bad. Location is still fine but is outside the main square of Brugge, but still adequate

Cozy, great breakfast, very kind owners ;)

-Breakfast was amazing! The ladies are so nice and kind :) Because is not buffet, they ask you what do you prefer. Eggs, cereal, juices, tea, coffee, etc. They are very generous with the bread (many types! ---> Croissants, brown bread, white bread, etc ), Fruit salad, different types of cheese and ham. -We were 4, we asked for a large bed and 2 individual and we got what we asked :) -There's air-conditioning, TV, coffee/tea maker... I just missed a small frigo bar :) -The location is very central (in front of the bust station) what makes things a bit difficult when you came by car and with lots of luggage. Around the hotel the streets are only allowed for public transport. A good solution is to park at the Train Station parking (around 6 euro for 2 nights), it's safe and cheap (10 min walking). -For sure we will back to this hotel in the future !!!

staff are really kind and gentle. room is cozy and comfortable. location of the hotel is perfect and very close to almost every touristic place in the city. breakfast is good and lady in there is really lovely. I like everything about the hotel. I definetly recommend everyone.
