Terrible experience! l woke up at night all itchy but only in the morning l found bedbugs bites on my body, spotted a big one crawling, took a video and show it to the reception. They asked me to send it to the hotel managed but l never got any reply, really outrageous!

The hotel is really run down and not the cleanest. Apparently the owners are planning a reno so no proper caretaking. Wish hotels.com would let you know before you booked. This has happened to me before. However great location and really nice front desk staff

Most parking around here is underground so no good for a van but l managed to find a pay and display spot nearby. Hotels.com could up its game by categorising parking to include vans as it is frustrating to be told there is parking but not for vans. Please add van parking to your algorithm.

This was the worst hotel we stayed in out of 15 hotels we used for our trip, including hostels. Room 43 was a health and safety risk as it was damp and fousty, and smelt awful. The receptionist was indifferent to our complaint and no other rooms were available. The manager was not available either. We ended up leaving the hotel and booking into another hotel. and had to leave. Would not recommend this hotel.

Staff very friendly. Large room with kingsize bed and single bed. Very clean and comfortable. The room had a small fridge. The bathroom was equipped with both a shower and a bath with a shower attachment. It was lovely to have a large mirror and a double sink too. Only thing that let the room down was that the shower door was missing and as a result area around shower was being affected by the water.

Room was in terrible shape- marks all over the carpets and walls, tv didn’t work, tiny window which faced a brick wall and the bathroom window facing directly into someone else’s window with no blind. Our friends stayed there too and lived their room, had a balcony and lots of natural light and a working tv- we paid the same amount of money as them, I booked both at the same time. Asked to move to a similar room and was refused. Good location, good shower.

We received an incredibly warm welcome from the lady on reception. Our top-floor room gave wonderful views over the city. The bathroom is slightly dated but perfectly acceptable. Breakfast was good, if slightly expensive. The area around the hotel offers a good selection of bars and restaurants. We found all the city sights to be easily walkable from the hotel.

There was no shower door. The floor was sopping wet long after use. The peeling linoleum floor added to the tiredness of the room, as did the use of what appeared to be second hand office furniture to furnish the room.cleaning seemed to consist of emptying the bins, beds not made up. The location is great though.

The location is very good, and easily accessible from the train station near-by. However, the room (double standard) was extremely poor quality - despite t being claimed at check-in as being a renovated room: 1. The walls were dirty, scraped, and in some instances the painting had not been completed 2. Bed had no headboard - and wall was dirty and scraped 3. Room was dusty and you did not have to look very far to find dust around and under bed. 4. Bathroom had black mould in the shower/bath 5. Room had very little in the way of useful or practical amenities - paper cups not glasses, a small fridge that did not cool Requested an iron (as hotel advertises iron and iron board available) but there were no iron boards. Kinda like giving a car with no wheels. Made ironing difficult and laborious as not a suitable or safe surface to iron on. 6. Hotel was hot, stuffy and smelly... (even the elevator) and the general feeling was it needed a really good air-out 7. WORST of all was the rooms have no air-con. (which may be a city ordnance issues due to it being a historical site) but the rooms were stiflingly hot and even though a small fan was provided it was not sufficient to cool the room (it was also a very cheap fan so rattled and made more noise than necessary. I would say they fan noise may have kept me awake - but truth was I could hardly sleep due to the oppressive heat in the room. Overall not a positive experience in any way - although Brugge itself is stunning.

The location is excellent and within walking distance of all the key attractions. However the hotel, is terrible. The hotel smells of sewage and so do the rooms: There is no fridge, kettle or iron in the room. The safe is not secure and will not lock. The basin in not inside the toilet and you have to walk through the bedroom to wash your hands. The shower is an open shower and with a flimsy shower curtain.

Not a good experience at all! This was not what we expected in such a beautiful city as Bruges. They assigned us a room with broken drawers, a flooding bathroom, dusty surfaces, two safe boxes that didn’t work and they didn’t have the keys for, filthy carpet, worn out wall paint, a broken kettle, dirty linen, and more. When we requested a room change they said we were assigned this room because we booked it through hotels.com. The staff was very defensive, but thankfully they changed us to a better room. Nevertheless, the hotel is not like what we saw in the pictures, even the front desk area is unclean. The location is as convenient as any other hotel in Bruges.

The room was spacious and clean and this has made me comfortable. Hot water for shower was available 24 hours which made comfortable. The room was well designed to block any noise or disturbances. I wish that there was an alarm clock. The reception staf was good and helpful and welcoming.

Having gone to five hotels in 5 days, which prebooked on Expedia, this one had the slowest front desk due to the fact that it needed alll the info that it should have gotten from the booking already. Bed was as hard as a board and one lumpy pillow so I didn’t sleep well. Also I got into the shower o my to find the body wash empty and I was already soaking, got out to get some from sink, and realized after, that the towel I used to get out was the only one so I had to use hand towel. It is very clean and has an elevator, but I tried to take stairs down and they were not lit at all. I was only there one night. An extra towel, refilled shower gel and better bedding would have made this stay a lot better.
