Pleasant and comfortable stay with a touch of old school charm.

Friendly and helpful host Jeremy, clean place. Jeremy even arranged fresh milk for to have in the room for my tea! Thank you Jeremy. Generally a stylish comfortable place.

Loose tiles on pool edging on the side closest to the hotel, this is a safety hazard, the admin office where guests are welcomed looks very pokey and unprofessional (compared with the rest of building), parking not well marked out in the door, loose toilet seat in room, loose basin (moves on the wall), loose toilet roll holder

Enjoyable

Centrally located in Dorp Street. Walking distance to central Stellenbosch and university for Graduation ceremony and campus. Rooms comfortable and good bedding. Breakfast very good.

Very helpful in changing my room, when my daughter unexpectedly came with me.

I liked the location. Thought they put out a lovely breakfast.

Found the mattresses on the beds a bit soft. I have back problems, so would prefer a firmer more supportive bed.

Exceptional

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with lots of variety and options. The staff were friendly and helpful. On my departure date, I had an early start, but the staff provided me with a breakfast box to make sure I had some food to start my day. The hotel is in a great location in central Stellenbosch - a short walk to many good places to eat and drink.

I was leaving the hotel to get to the airport before the reception was manned and so I had to unlock and relock the hotel - this felt very strange and also my key didn't work properly so I had to get the security guard involved. I got out eventually but was quite stressful as was early morning and still dark and my driver was waiting!
