Beautiful charming place opposite the botanical gardens, so very central but private and safe, great breakfast from the veranda in nice garden, and most friendly staff

Our room was quite small without outside seating area but there is ample of space in the guesthouse to enjoy the garden from the veranda or seating area inside

Relaxing, picture perfect and very welcoming!

Breakfast was delicious! We stayed in the self-catering part of the property (which is just across the road from the main house). The accommodation was massive, and the whole place was gorgeous and in a fantastic location with a great little pool for when it got warm. The self-catering units are in a beautiful little property that is surrounded by a lush garden space, the perfect place to sit with a morning coffee! The staff were very welcoming and super helpful, giving us a little tour of both the main house and the self-catering when we arrived.

That I could only stay a few nights, I would love to come back in the future!

The best place to stay in Stellenbosch! Stop searching :)

This place was exceptional. I have to start by saying that a local who lives in Stellenbosch recommended this place to us and it was absolutely perfect. First of all the garden is so inviting and pleasing. Then, the whole house decor and color combination is so lovely that I felt like i wanted to take a picture of every wall and every painting. The room was wonderful and comfortable. We paid for an upgrade and got a higher level room with a balcony with mountain and pool view and if you do so, you will not be disappointed. The breakfast at this place was the best breakfast we have had in our lives. It is all to order and it absolutely exceeds all expectations. The room coffee is wonderful and they even have a milk frother! The bed is super comfortable and the sheets are soft and crisp. The shower is modern with wonderful pressure and nice open window to the outside so you can enjoy hearing the birds and the wild life outside. It was close to wonderful walking trails and restaurants and all together there was so much to do.

Great place to stay

We had very good time in Bonne Esperance guest house. The pla e is beautiful and the staff is very nice. We had a problem with one of our rooms and it was replaced at the same day. Thank you for a great vacation.

I think the price is a bit high for a place with no breakfast.

Great and beautiful location at Stellenbosch

The house is very beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Very well located and close to restaurants and shops. They have parking, which was great for me and my family. The breakfast is amazing! Staff was also very kind.

Beautiful guest house very well located

Decent sized room, modernly furnished with coffee station, fresh milk and mini bar. Large white towels, crisp linen and firm bed. Breakfast was an exceptional range of dishes delicious!!

A good value, comfortable stay close to the centre of Stellenbosch (but not in the noisy area).

Breakfast was great with a lovely, varied menu to cater for all requirements. The coffee was especially good. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The room was very small but very well appointed. We have stayed in another part of the guest house before and the room was much bigger. We needed to store some luggage, and the staff were very accommodating, and helped me with the heavier items when our transport arrived. We inadvertently left a bag with various chargers in it in the room when we checked out. Four days later I called them, and they had it in safe keeping for us to collect. I was relieved to get it back.

More place for our luggage to unpack our bags. I can't really fault anything else - the room was otherwise comfortable and well appointed.

The best place to walk around Stellenbosch

It’s well located, walking distance to the main places in town. The property has his own parking east to leave the car in a safe place. The room is amazing, nice linens and have enough space. Also the restaurant service and the food is excellent.

Lovely stay in Stellenbosch.

We are a family of 3 so we had 2 of the studios. Lov ely accommodation and very helpful staff. A great location, just across from the Botanical Gardens and 3 minutes walk from the Endler Hall. We attended a concert there. Quite safe to walk around the area at night. Comfortable beds, pretty garden and a great breakfast the next morning just across the road at the coffee shop. I would definitely stay here again.
