Enjoyable week in a lovely area.

Characterful old building in a beautiful and peaceful area of Stellenbosch.

We liked everything. One tiny nit pick would be that our bathroom was pretty tired. But it didn’t really affect our enjoyment of the week we spent there.

We had an amazing stay!

The accommodation is at a really nice and quiet, yet central location (close to the city center). The garden is beautiful and it is really nice relaxing at the pool. The breakfast was also really great.

We really appreciated that even though we arrived late due to bad traffic and they waited for us to check in.

Perfect place to stay when visiting wineries.

This is a beautiful property with excellent location. 10min uber from Tokara and Delaire Graff. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lexson was great help! Breakfast is 5star.

Lovely place in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood

Amazing place! Beautiful, spotlessly clean, and nicely located in a quiet neighbourhood. The manager is super friendly and communicative, and the owner is amazing and truly caring. Lovely pool area surrounded by beautiful greenery. Plentiful breakfast. Secure on-site parking. Close to the centre and to incredibly beautiful Jonkreshoek Reserve.

beautiful quiet location, yet easy walking distance to town. Very comfortable stay

The breakfast was really excellent. We started with fruit and yogurt, then had fresh hot scones, and a cooked breakfast was also available. All tables came with two types of juice, as well as hot drinks - coffee, tea. We have been travelling for 2+ weeks, and this has been the best breakfast by far. We wish we had stayed 2 nights!

Disappointed

It’s quite old and our room smelled a bit like mold. There is no isolation so you can hear everything from the corridors. Also, there was supposed to be on-premises parking but we had to park on the street all throughout the stay.

Beautiful stylish, luxurious and elegant hotel located in the heart of The Cape Winelands

The location of the hotel is in a beautiful quiet residential neighbourhood just 20 mins walk from Stellenbosch Centre. The building is stylish and elegant and the room was beautifully furnished in the period style of the building itself. The gardens were immaculately kept and the pool was just amazing and right outside our private patio area! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was also amazing!

Stunning heritage property with high spec modern facilities set among beautiful mountain scenery.

Perfect location, set in stunning countryside with sweeping mountain views. Easy road access to all local attractions and a short walk away from picturesque Stellenbosch town centre. Large rooms with plenty of light and excellent modern bathroom facilities. Very good cooked breakfast.

Everything was great. Lovely bedroom, spacious and very clean. Had a luxurious feel to it. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Coffee even beter :)). Friendly staff. There isn't much not to like here. Would def stay again.

If I really had to search then I would say only thing was a leaky shower. The door didn't close properly but it wasn't a huge problem

We had a very enjoyable time staying at VDSM. We liked the location, the staff were excellent.

Location was a short walk to the town centre and close to a local grocery shop. It was also a short walk to one of the many wineries in Stellenbosch. We also enjoyed the views of the scenery from the roof top location. Our room opened up to a small patio area leading to the swimming pool.

Van der Stel Manor was in a great location nestled in a quiet neighborhood. There was a beautiful walk through a park along the river and across an extension bridge two blocks away. The hospitality was outstanding and breakfast was wonderful.

Nice old style house. We were there during winter, it looked super cozy with fireplaces.

Lovely B&B conveniently located in Stellenbosch

This is a lovely little B&B in Stellenbosch. Staff were friendly and engaging - they gave us a lot of good suggestions about places to eat and wine farms to visit. Overall an excellent experience.

Get a room upstairs to avoid noise carrying in from the hallway.

Nice and stylish stay just outside Stellenbosch centre

Nice architecture building with romantic countryside interior decorations. Good breakfast in style served. Safe parking.

The gentleman checking us in and serving us breakfast wasn't there to make you feel welcome. Awkward situations. However the lady made things up for others. Wifi was sometimes not working. At night noises in the tiled hall from other guests not being aware of their behavior. Shower temperature kept going up and down.
