JOIVY Stunning Flat near Edinburgh Castle

Location excellent . lovely apartment , well specked, spacious.

Key collection not the best when you have 2 x 20 kgs Bags coming from airport. Handover and return of keys situation needs to be reviewed. Would certainly influence my decision to return considering the rates charged. TV did not work properly despite requests to have problem solved . Technician arrived but failed to solve problem, disappointing considering the Soccer World Cup is on. Two armchairs need replacement, well worn. It would appear the owner is not prepared to react to problems highlighted previously . Got a reminder to make sure I left everything clean before I left but had no problem including a cleaning charge when renting the apartment.

Getting and returning the key

It’s very well situated between the old and new city in Edinburgh.

The furniture and beds were old and worn. The apartment is noisy as you have traffic from the one side and a common stairwell on the other making the bedrooms very noisy. It wasn’t serviced and the staff didn’t offer to refresh towels or clean during our stay.
